Long story short, need a kitchen remodel and no time to wheel with a 9 month old baby...... so maybe another build in a couple years, we shall see. I am not giving it away, so who knows if it sells anytime soon?!?

I wish I saw this photo before I tacked this job last week! :(

This is one of those jobs where you do it once and you're a master of it forever. Pretty difficult the first time around though, if you ask me.

in the last few months: u-joints, tie-rod ends, tensioner, serpentine belt, battery, entire sound system

Current major issue: Stalling on startup

Also hearing an increased number of rattles and clanks when I go over bumps, seemingly coming from the rear. Have gotten worse lately. Visual inspection didn't turn up anything amiss. There's also a vibration at about 70mph+ that feels like an unbalanced wheel, but I just had brand new tires installed, and the balance is good.

Oh, and as of yesterday I noticed that when I'm parked and idling sometimes there's a very subtle vibration of unknown origin.

Subtle vibration could be a slight misfire... Are you throwing any codes?

I also have the same experience with the subtle vibration during idle. I was thinking it could be the engine or transmission mounts. And vehicle won't hold idle from time to time too. lol

Removed the flares today. I think a little touch up and some compound and should be good to go as far as getting rid of the rub lines.

Started pinstripe removal tonight which have probably been on the truck since new. Not coming off easily. :bang: Unfortunately I let the heat gun go too long on one area and I actually gouged a little of the paint by accident just under the mirror, so pissed about that one!!! Now I know what not to do....

I installed 1.5" Spidertrax spacers that I ordered from Slee. It sits so much prettier now!

You can also see how far inboard the front wheels were sitting after the lift.

There was a sale on Duratracs... so I dropped my spare for replacement and mount on the rear. Lost the little "key" so I spent about 40 mins with my arm cranked up around the spare to get at those 4 bolts that secure the whole lowering assembly. At how crusty it was, im not even sure that key would have mattered.

Finally took off running boards (Metaltech sliders arriving July) and plastidipped the grill as an experiment (it's still drying)
