This is the exact hill where I learned about never letting your truck roll backwards in a forward gear. My truck stalled and I went backwards uncontrollably. Damn scary and caused the first damage ever to my rocker panels and destroyed my PS running board. That was such a long time ago. I've learned plenty since then :p
But we'll never forget. :flipoff2:

Trying to finish this up. Have to work today, on a Sunday, on Father's Day, so I figured I'd do some welding, grinding and primer!!! Gotta have a friend weld the hitch receiver and recovery points since I inly have a 120V welder.

Finished my elocker retrofit into my 40th Anniversary Cruiser, sourced a complete used front axle, and a used third for the rear, replaced the passenger axleshaft, notched the axle housing, 5 wire harness up to the driver kickpanel, installed the dial, dash bulbs and Locker ECU, all in a moth or so.

More than I expected!
From the quest for parts down to turning the knob and listening the lockers engage and the lights become steady...

Why not ARB's, or similar, front and rear? Probably cheaper, definitely easier, definitely more dependable.

Wrapped up the 4x4 labs bumper install on my lx and took the van's spot in the garage for a pic next to Sexy Lexy - the wife's ride

Slid sideways on a narrow trail into a small tree. Slid right being my bullbar. Broke the turn signal cover and dented the fender. Damn! It's not creased so I think PDR can get it out. I've owned it for 18 days and already banging it up! Could have been worse though.

Got my switches in, bent the floor of the new console, and tacked it up.
