@Ocho77 I love the stance on your LX. What kind of lift/tire combo are you running?

I think he is talking about these mirror mounting brackets: https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/group-buy-yodateq-front-mirror-mount-brackets.813412/

There is a quick shaky mirror fix in the FAQ: https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/shaky-mirror-fix-2-minutes-2-zip-ties.604539/
Or else you can see in his picture that he used epoxy to fix the broken tab, easy too, but not as quick.

@Brentbba yes the shaky mirror fix is one of them but not the zip-tie. I rocked the JB Weld. Here is the write up on the mirror mods: https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/ho...other-useless-mods-to-waste-your-time.820706/

Its a work in progress so.... :flipoff2:

Epoxy and zip ties have solved my shakey mirror fix. No interest in heating my mirrors. They've survived Colorado winters, trips to Tahoe in the winter, etc. without heaters.

Rear tailgate storage addition.

Over the last week or so:

Better door cards that i found at a junk yard.

Pioneer 6.5" speakers in the back doors (just took out the baskets, trimmed the masonite a little, and mounted the speakers to the cards)

dual lift gate dome lights with ebay LED panels

heated mirrors

pin 7

Edit: Oh, and new runs in the front doors. Windows are still slow though. Looks like i get to drop some coin on replacement motors.

Took off both front and rear bumpers, grinded off rust, welded on a few gussets, cut openings and installed winch

Sanded, primed, and painted my wheels, then drove down to discount tire and got me some 285/75 falkens mountain ats's for dirt cheap and we're ready for the winter months :)
I'm loving the way it looks with the bigger tires and black wheels!!
Next mod is a rear bumper/ buy a spare tire/carrier and weld metals :)
Peace

Bled the brakes, installed my sway bar disconnects, and modified my fog lights so that they aren't aimed at the tops of the sequoias.

And then...

Fixed my DS window issue, this time it was the single bracket / roll mechanism that is affixed to the inside left side of the door.

And then...

Put my steel door panel back on, woo hoo, 6 seconds, not counting the 3 seconds I spent to hit the "that was easy" button.

I swapped out the charcoal canister. When I disconnected the house to the tank the pressure bleed was pretty pronounced.

I had a little helper. I should have put his tiny hands to work on the PHH.

Installed anti-theft/car-jack system not to be confused with an alarm system.

I still have an alarm with stater cut off but now even with the key if you dont know the secret it will crank but not start. Even if one is watching me closely chances are they will not catch it.

Went camping up to Ocala National Forest with some buddies. Got to use my RTT and AC.

Also installed LandCruiserPhil's awning led strip mod, but I took it a little further and added two strips.. See the pics.

Hey all!

I just got back from Sequoia and King's Canyon National Park. Here are a few pics. Thanks @Haggis for the great destination advice! Video coming soon!
