Thanks man. It's the standard brown option that Shane has, I am sure @AATLAS1X would be able to give you the exact name of the color he uses.

The carpet is from www.stockinteriors.com, the color is 8835 medium beige - plush cut pile with the vinyl mass back option.

The floor mats are the standard husky liners. Really the only option if you want custom fit.

Looks great! I picked up a set of flat black powder coated stock rims. Turned out really nice. Tired of touching up painted rims that never quite look good anyway.

These rims look great. Getting mine blasted and powder coated gun metal grey or black is on the list. Would love to see how these look once mounted.

Made it up to Vermont where I was lucky enough to check out Poor Wally's Landcruiser Emporium in Pownal. He specializes in 40s but knows landcruisers (at least up to 80s) - he is legendary for doing 40 tubs and fabrication, and his work is truly impressive. He helped fix the driveline issues I'd been having - two new u-joints on the front shaft.

Here's his spot, right before a torrential rainstorm

Some video of the storm 20 min later..

..then was able to hit some VT roads (and a ski resort) on the bike with some friends

A/C belt broke and took the other 2 belts with it. Shows you how far PM's go when it's 112 degrees outside...

This happened to me last Thurs. 7/3/14. It wrapped all the belts around the water pump and instantly overheated and my radiator exploded the top tank.
Glad to know your radiator didn't explode as well!

Thanks murf - updated post with link

Finally did the gear oil replacement in the front diff, transfer case, and rear diff. Baselining still after purchasing the truck a month ago.

Due to rust underneath I was happy to get all the bolts off without any issues, I hit them with AeroKroil a few days ahead of time on the advice of our fellow poster Kernal (thanks Kernal!). Replaced the drain plug bolts and all crush washers.

Fluid came out of the rear diff with some froth, is that normal?

Front diff was fairly grey, which I believe indicates birf/front axle issues?

So I've done new battery, all new fluids (well, not brake or power steering), new tires (315/75r16 Duratracs) and am replacing blown OEM speakers now. I replaced the headliner speakers in the rear and have all the other speakers I need for rear subwoofer, front and back doors, and dash tweets. All speakers combined only cost $120 or so.

ongoing interior shenanigans...killing more sound/heat with cruisercrap followed by a foam layer thus completing the back to front sound deadening, and an inverter, 12v socket, and voltage meter installed in the rear of the center console

I wonder if some of y'all ever even drive your rig or if its a 100% project. I drive mine every day and really enjoy driving it. More so than almost any vehicle I've owned ( and I've owned a ton)!!! My HD Street Glide beats it by a small margin.

New rear hub studs. Far more difficult to remove the old ones in the rear as compared to the ones up front, not exactly sure why.

Mine is my only vehicle...fortunately I work from home :hillbilly:

And you thought you already got bad fuel mileage!!!!!

If that rack makes the fuel mileage worse, count me in. I've tried everything I can think of to get under that 10MPG and just can't get there.

Nice! Any modifications you're planning right away?

Holy roof rack lights... I liked the old rack setup better...Sry just IMO
