Took her camping, wheeling. Went to find snow, but there's almost no snow what so ever

Looks like some fun! Love the stance by the way

By not allowing what could be a substantial amount of oil blow by into the intake and therefore into the combustion cycle.

Awesome thanks! IS this a common problem in the 80? I haven't seen this one yet

Its actually pretty common in a lot of vehicles. BMW guys put in catch cans. Just pulled the head on my dads Civic. It has the verticle throttle body. Noticed oil puddling in the intake manifold directly below the throttle body.

Working on installing my Volvo 70 center console add-on.

I accidentally removed the two screws that hold the connector wire for the VAF. Needless to say it couldn't start it. So I took the plastic cover off the VAF and soldered the three loose PC board contacts back in place. Put everything back together and it started and is running good. After this, I'm interested in replacing the VAF with a later model MAF.

that roof looks pretty interesting, any chance we could see some pics of it opened out, or some links

Put a 2.5" tjm kit on englaneato's rig with him. Now he just needs those sliders and skid plate....

Comet lives.

Put new Toyota shocks (Thanks BENO) on, new vacuum hoses, fixed P0401 (time will tell), and yes-replaced the PHH since the new starter was out. Darn PHH was just staring at me, taunting me to screw with it. Busted the knock sensor just like everyone said would happened but a trusty soldering iron and liquid tape fixed that right up. Signature to be updated.

COmet.

Removed the rear heater, laid down couple of layers of roadkill/dynamite over the hole. Probably going to put a layer of carpet over it too.

Now I need to figure out if the new low profile sub will fit under the passenger seat when it gets here.

BTW anyone need a working rear heater?

Just for another opinion; I have yet to be convinced that this is actually a "problem". I think most folks see oil and think, "well that can't be good" without actually having any problems due to it. I'm not convinced that this causes EGR carbon issues, either.

Yeah it was. It's been one of the driest winters ever up here. No snow:( just patches of crunchy ice and mud!

I hosed off the mats; vacuumed the carpet and seat crevasses; wiped down the dash and door panels; cleaned any mud/dirt off the seats; gave her a well-needed bath (the $5.00 basis wash); bought a tire cover for the spare and strapped it in the corner against the back of the driver's side 2nd row seat (as a bonus, it holds my off-road box, tool kit, and fire extinguisher in place); touched up some nicks in the paint.
