Did a light refresh on the interior since it was too darn cold here in TX to do my Fatmatt or the monstaliner roof this weekend.....

found drawer liner foam and cut it to fit the cupholders and center bins ( and the darn glove comparment....that's way more complicated...)

Then bought "tread" covers from Lowes and cup to fit over - and glued it all with contact glue.... I have to say it came our really nice for $10.... I also put felt tabs on all the contact points and iit helped minimize a few rattles...

I also installed the finally parts from the CARID real wood kit..... stripped all the rest of the old trim and slap on the new - a HUGE difference for the money and it really lightened up the interior. Pics to follow tomorrow......

As a note don't forget to put away razor blades when you are done..... found one in my box of rags accidently.....off to the hospital to get stiches...!

Changed out a burned out bulb on the pax side headlight... And eyeballed all I need to remove for future install of a 1" body lift! Jonesys I'll be putting my order in soon!!!!!

Started on the lift

Making progress on the gears and front end.

Installed the rear third member.
Finished setting up the front ring and pinion.
tore down the front knuckles the rest of the way and Cleaned, cleaned, cleaned.
I got a small ultrasonic cleaner from harbor freight and put some degreaser in it. I took all the hardware and tossed it in there for a couple of min. and it does a great job of knocking all the grit off. makes reassembly way nicer.

I have a set of these off set king pin bearings that I'm going to try to add another 2 deg. of castor. Depending on the orientation when you install them you can also get camber if you want. I may set it up for a couple tenths of camber too.

We just released them recently.

iconvehicledynamics.com

They are 2.5" dia. 7/8" shaft and have a 20% bump zone in the last couple inches.
15-3/8" comp
26-3/4" ext.
11-3/8" travel
full up travel-no bump spacer needed.

These have the CDC compression adjuster. cant quite see it in this pic its jest behind the hose on the reservoir. you can also get them without the adjuster. We will be doing a 2.0" soon too.

Awesome, I was wondering when you guys would get this done, are you going to come out with in pneumatic inside spring bump stops?

Drove and charted some more forest service roads in N.E. Georgia. Oh, and amazed yet another Jeep owner with the features and capabilities of a basically stock Land Cruiser.

You read my mind.

I'm working in the fronts.

Rears would require cutting. I haven't committed to the rear yet.

Threw this hell-raiser in. I wouldn't recommend a sosche kit for a 97 LC unless you have an engineering degree. But the radio is in and works beautifully.

Thread hijack but with one engel fridge running and the stereo occasionally, I was thinking 80 watts is sufficient to keep the battery topped off? What do you all think?
