I saw 37 this morning on the way in. Needed some band-aids to cover my nips. :D

which it's your outside temp .. ?

coz I never saw mine under 50 .. and that's in a fresh night while rolling around ..

Using R12? Heard it cools better.

Yep, R12. I've thought about converting but I'm still able to find plenty of affordable R12 on eBay. $15 for my last can of Sercon. My 80 takes about one can to top it off every two hot and steamy Missouri summers. The wife is freezing obviously and closes her right vent which means I just get more of the cool goodness on the left. Ha!

 No pics pls.

I've got some pretty sexy nips but I'll abstain from posting any pics. :p

It's currently 97 here with 35% humidity.

while humidity could be playing a big factor .. I would to need to ask to AC expert to confirm .. coz dude, I'm still amazed you get that much cold from your AC ..

I was Finally able to take the whole fam on our 1st camping trip in the LC. It was only a one night deal, but the LC performed great and we had a blast!

I've never really thought much about it. I think I've seen several other folks on MUD post numbers similar to these.

Glad you all had fun. This was our first year family camping. The cruiser makes a great platform.

New inner and outer pinion bearings and pinion seal. Took care of a huge issue I've had for some time. Glad it's over.

Was this issue in the front pinion?
I get a grinding noise especially at highway speeds and when i take my foot off the accelerator?

Nope. It was in the rear pinion. Mine didn't make much of a grinding noise, just a really bad whirring noise.

Replaced original 18 year old control arm bushings, and panhard bushings. They were very hard and cracked and very noisey. Amazing the difference in ride quality and noise. The OEM option for the 6 control arm bushings were going to be approx. $200, I ordered the Moog set for $38 a side from Rockauto. They are made in Japan , have Toyota part number on them.... Don't forget the discount code from the vendor section. I think they are the same as OEM, only time will tell if they can last another 240k. Yes they are in the freezer for easier installation. Also remounted my home made "creeper sleeper" inspired skidplate after drilling a drain hole for t-case. Also exterminated the stinkbug with a 1 1/4" homemade spacer for the front.

Installed my Slee headlight harness and working on finishing up installation of my LED light bar.

fabbed a battery hold down bar for my 2nd battery install. One of those big batteries that the OEM bar is worthless for.

My LC has always had a wacky ride and a slight lean since I purchased it 4 months ago. Finally decided to replace the rear shocks. Found these miss matched and different length shocks! Replaced with Rancho 5000's

Problem solved. Rides really solid and smooth now!
