Actually was the weekend before last. I took the family up to Hume Lake and met CruiserFJ45 and his wife. He led us on a trail called Camp 7 Road, which is a forest service road with a couple rockslides to negotiate.

At the pinch rocks in the last 2 videos, I ended up with a couple new dents in my LH rear door.

There was also lots of overgrowth, so we got some pretty bad pinstriping.

Nothing special...just got away for the weekend to a little lake on the backside of Mt. Fuji. It was nice to get out of the low land heat.

B point, what sort of tent/awning is that??

It's a side tent from a Japanese company called Ogawa. It's nice for getting out of the sun and sets up in a minute or two.

Hey SIZZLE, you beat me to it, those were my thoughts. More pics please! Esp. the Black Rock desert.

Of course a trip report would be awesome too.

Hey Murf nice rig? If may ask, what rear bumper is that?

Thanks! A Local Fab guy made it here in Phoenix. He builds to order and also made my front bumper. One of the options I really liked was the exhaust routed through the bottom corner of the rear bumper. He also built in the trailer hitch/trailer power port. He is on the board as TommyGunFab.

not the weekend yet (damn it!) but i installed a bolt-in seatbelt extender.

between that and the seat relocation brackets, it's never been so comfortable.

i now have enough comfort to remark about how the seat bolster aint quite right and the suspension is worn out. oh well.

Upgraded to 285's, slapped on some Mr. T rotors and pads and topped off my R12.

damn dude .. I never see my AC vent temp that low .. jealous .. !

I saw 37 this morning on the way in. Needed some band-aids to cover my nips. :D
