I took my 80 on its maiden voyage after rebuilding the steering/trans/cooling packages into the Maine Northwoods. Did about 200 miles with no leaks or issues!

Drove to Overland Expo East in Virginia. The event was smaller than it has been in the past and we will definitely be skipping next year unless something changes drastically. I still had fun camping with friends and making awesome dinners at night.

I saw some pics of the event and yeah, it looked pretty barren. It's probably going go die a slow death there. It's not worth it for those vendors to travel that far for nothing.

Lmk if you're selling that scheelmann.

Went hunting and actually got to use the rear locker. Nemo ate up 18 miles of s***ty, boulder strewn mining roads like butter.

Find the 80.

I agreed to let a new Dry Ice Blasting company use my rig for the grand opening. They blasted the under carriage and then did a 10-year ceramic coating to help keep it clean. Please consider Rafael @ Articblast DFW if you want to blast away 30 years of grime and leave it looking dealership new

What’s the name of the 10 year coating they used? They applied that to the undercarriage or the paint?

Thought my cruiser was going to sit at my parents house in Colorado Springs until I found the time to yank the motor out of it to rebuild it. But I sold one of my other cars, so it came out of retirement to get me back to Aspen.

I had not driven it since I shut the door after getting back from Alaska. Fired right up and cruised up to Gunnison for a night and got up early yesterday and took Taylor Pass back to Aspen. Still purrs.

I appreciate it thank you! I think you main question is regarding the bumper which is totally custom (credit to @ExpoMax ). It is full custom besides the Jerry can holder is 4x4 Labs with some cheapo Jerry cans off amazon. MTB rack is a OneUp, but it opens up with the swingout. Can't give Max enough credit
