Checked for floor mat alternatives the last few weeks but there are not many options for LHD. Ended up ordering the Weathertechs that many of you already use as they were easiest/quickest to get through Amazon. Decent fitment and it appears they could be reshaped should they warp over time, I like them.

Replaced nonfunctional drivers side rear door lock actuator and washed/polished the body.
Removing actuator assembly was a pita. Ended up unbolting and fishing the door handle through to the inside and pulling everything out to get a good attack angle on rod attached to the door handle. It just didn’t want to come out without a fight.

You think the Badlands winch is a "placeholder"? Sounds like you got caught up in the name game and not going by results and performance. The Badlands winch is amazing.
Yeah, I’ve got a 12 K Badlands with synthetic rope and it’s a solid product. I bought it when Harbor freight had a big sale and I feel like I stole it from them, lol.

I had a local glass place reinstall my windshield because of a small leak above the steering wheel.

I spoke to the manager about the fsm procedure and emailed a copy of the pages to him. A few days later i called back and he was a bit reluctant but agreed to do the work. He said he would be doing it himself rather than have one of his shop hands do it. He ordered a spare windshield just in case something got damaged during removal. I supplied the Toyota gasket. He applied sealant in the gasket channel and installed onto the glass. Then Installed onto the cruiser. Then added more sealant between the glass and gasket under the lip. And then verified I wanted it sealed gasket-to-frame because it would be more difficult to remove in the future. He sealed everything.

I haven’t put it to the test in a downpour but I don’t expect any leaks.

$250 plus tax for labor and supplies and I supplied the Toyota gasket. Thankfully the Pgw windshield I have was not damaged so i didn’t need the Fuyao glass.

Notes:
The leak was due to the local dealership not using sealant when “they” installed the windshield.

Fuyao was the readily available glass for the cruiser. it was an additional $185 if he needed it. I have had good experience with that brand in my wife’s car. It is clear and seems good quality but I have heard better things about the PGW brand I already have.
