My LandCruiserPhil sway bar end link ball joints are completely shot. I tried injecting grease into the ball but no luck. One is seized and requires a tremendous amount of force to move. Replacements arrive today.

I replaced my front sway bar bushings two weeks ago. Apparently I didn't tighten the bolts down for my sway bar drop brackets and lost one of the brackets. Since the front sway bar wasn't doing much, I removed the whole sway bar and took the Cruiser for a spin. Body roll and driving dynamics are not as bad as I thought, but once I have weight in the vehicle and a family of four, I could see this being a handful on twisty roads. I will make new drop brackets and reinstall the sway bar.

New Diode Dynamics fog lights are on the way to replace my Amazon lightbar.

I actually look my photo and put it in Photoshop to determine fog light placement.

Updated the front bumper to an ARB and added the Apex Badlands 12k lb winch (synthetic rope).

The winch was a PITA to get mounted properly…I was happy to have people who knew what they were doing and help.

She’s growing up so fast!

All these ARBs. My ARB wasn’t up to the task so I have it removed and making it better. ARB 2.0 in the pipeline.

I bought that same winch as a placeholder until I could afford a nice Warn…. I’ve used it a few times now and like it so much that I may just leave it.

Road trip yesterday to pick up a "free" Honda 4wheeler. It's a 1996 with one flat tire, dead battery, front brake line frozen, will not shift into N, likely needs a carb rebuild, plus who knows what else. But it was free  . Later swung by Tilda Bogue to pick up some 60 series parts that @Meshal acquired for me. Hung out with @wngrog a short time then @cruiserinsanityand I rolled back to AL.

I put in a new dist. O-ring, the original had been slightly seeping for a while. Before i took it out, I marked the position of the arm and the dist body/nut, reinstalled it. It ran fine, but after a couple days I decided to check timing g and found i was about 3* slow, so adjusted it back to 3* and just went through my first tank of around-town driving, (with daily 15 mile stretches at highway speed, 70mph) and averaged 14.6mpg.

You think the Badlands winch is a "placeholder"? Sounds like you got caught up in the name game and not going by results and performance. The Badlands winch is amazing.
