As others have said - escaped the heat this weekend and had a great time with the crew. Weather was about perfect, but the mosquitos were out in FULL force.

I'm also trying to get out as much as I can with the pup, not sure how many more of these trips I'll get to experience with him.

Originally planned to stick this altimeter/inclinometer in my '81 Pickup project but got inspired by @Ballsie and made this.
There's undoubtedly some room for improvement but it'll go.

Ow that’s a great idea! I’ve always loved those in the old pickups/runners.

Went for a little drive along the southern part of Sarn Helen, near Neath (UK).
It’s a Roman road, over 1,800 years old but still drivable.

I've been using Mud as resource since I purchased my 80 about three years ago. I guess this is my first real post so here it goes. Last weekend I checked my timing. About two years ago I did the head gasket and installed a Scan Guage. (thanks Mud for all the help with that!) Since then it's always ran a little warmer than I would like. New water pump, new radiator, new blue fan clutch (no mod done yet.) Temps always creep up 190-205 with AC on. Worse under a load like pulling a slight hill. Never checked my timing, just marked dist. and put back in. Shame on me, made the jumper wire, checked base timing and it was 13 degrees! Set it back to 3. I drove it to work a couple of days and wow! It runs at least 5-8 degrees cooler, no AC 175ish with AC under 192 all the way. SO with the summertime heat it pays to make sure it the basics are all in order.

Installed a slee dual battery tray with arb dual compressor.

Then decided to fabricate a bracket for mounting arb pressure control module.

Then made a bracket for the Switchpro. Anyone see any issues with mounting it here above the cruise control?
