I had a very "methodical" piece-by-piece weekend. If
@Fj80oregon worked at my pace he would need to find a new way to pay the bills.... but progress is progress and hopefully I get all those @#$&*! tiny vacuum hoses connected back to correct spots!
I went ahead and installed all the sensors on the driver's side of the block, head and upper intake manifold along with a new front seal and harmonic balancer and new gaskets for the oil cooler. Also installed 6 new injectors (incl new wire connectors) and new fuel pressure regulator along with all new fuels, cooling and vac hoses. Had already recently replaced the power steering pump (and aftmkt fin cooler), and alternator, water pump and have all a new oem radiator to finish things up. Ended up replacing a lot more parts (and spending a lot more $$!) than I had originally planned on what started out to be a preventative head gasket replacement, but hopefully it pays off in the end as well as resolving a bunch of the small oil leaks that were driving me crazy (still have a small leak that is either the upper oil pan or rear main seal I will need to tackle at some point).
