I’ve finally gotten my tires bald enough to get pulled outta the ditch off i70 this winter by @Dubbinchris now you’re telling me I can put my dorkel to use in SoCal?!

Boys we’re gonna need a boba run soon.
It’s like truckers in the winter running I-70 in a windbreaker. They don’t want to open the left door to hang iron.
105 out there. Don't hate on the Boba; liquid snow.

BTW - I’d probably sacrifice one of my dogs for rain in coastal TX right now…
X2… 110 in ATX yesterday, cooled down to 106 today. Wrapped up our 42nd consecutive high above 100F with no end in sight. Darn happy with my Blue Hub mod, running mid to upper 180’s is this crap with hard AC.

Just a pair of sexy red diesel Land Cruisers! 😍🤙 💦

These Cruisers give me a woody! 😂

Not sure how you could feel the same about current day “styles” of vehicles in the same kind of “oh sh*t that is hot!” way but to each their own! These kind of Cruisers for me are like seeing a super hot woman in public, I have a hard time not staring! 🤣👌

1991 HDJ81 on the left and a 1997 FZJ80 on the right we swapped a 1HDFTE in. 🚀

Cheers

Finally finishing up the bushing replacement for the 80. Last ones to do were the front control arms. By this time my approach has been drill out the old rubber, punch out the inner bushing, sawzall notches in the outer bushing and knock it out. Then press in the new bushings. Thanks to @Zjohnsonua and Rory for the loan of bushing press tools. The bushing presses made this job not only easier but possible.

This is what I was doing: went barramundi fishing in the Victoria River on a quick trip across the NT border. Stopped in Darwin for territory day; absolute mayhem.

Yeah, I was at a convenience store and this little brand new Tesla parked next to me. Woman pulled herself out of it, almost huffing, stared at my Land Cruiser before walking towards the door and said, "Why drive that Earth Killer?"

I looked at her, smiled, and said, "Earth killer? She just needs a drill hole to get to the oil...yours needs to strip mine an entire village in a third world nation to get your battery materials. Yours blows up and catches fire after a software upgrade or after Musk goes on a twitter rampage because his feelings got hurt...mine will literally run on piss and vinegar and mud."

I paused for a beat and said, smiling, "My Earth Killer will outlast your Tesla, much like it outlasted my last girlfriend."

She huffed at me, almost snorted angrily, really, and proceeded inside, not holding the door for me ;)
I had a similar conversation with someone in a Tesla. I told them if my car lasts another 20 years it still wouldnt have Carbon Footprint her POS electic car caused just getting built! Oh and told her "Eat a Bag of Dicks"
