Installed a Blue Sea power outlet in the back for our fridge that usually rides in the Troopy. Wife has been wanting to take the 80 lately, probably something to do with A/C ...

And drove it to a FS cabin we rented for the weekend.

Torn down and looks amazing even with the burnt Oil on everything. This truck had 270k on it and barely smoked on start up( valve guide seals) it’s gonna get a full rebuild. The bearings even looked new. Cross hatching was Present and no markings on the piston skirts.

Do you ever get into an engine like this and think, "Well, didn't really need to break it open, but what's done is done", or is it for full peace of mind when they go back out to someone.
I'm assuming it's the latter

Installed my @TRAIL TAILOR rear skids and @Delta VS rear PHB which worked perfectly by the way for my setup!! Nice and level. Also had my LandTank front sway brackets welded on. Hard to get a picture of that though.

Now need to decide which rear LCA to go with since mine is bent.

Stoked we were able to get you into Mike @steezy for a 1 1/2 day turn knuckle job. How many shop owners would pull parts off their rig to get you back on the road? Definitely not that other shop we are not mentioning.

If so, was it possible to cross the first river to access the remaining camp areas? Haven't been up there since the winter storms, but heading up there in 2 weeks. Curious about the water level.
