No exciting places to drive and no snow down here in Texas. I did manage to get out for the first "Road Trip" in the truck though, headed down to the Austin area for a steal of a deal on a new canoe.
I skipped the highway and took the back roads, trying to connect some unpaved stuff just to at least get it dirty. Mission accomplished.
Can't wait to find some time to take it further and do some real exploring. I did snag the canoe though and had a great lunch with the seller as we sat outside in the 70F and super sunny weather on the restaurant patio.
So, first dirty, first road trip, first hauling. Feeling pretty good about it. Also, got a very excited thumbs up on the way home from the driver of a shiny brand new still wearing temp tags Land Cruiser. Guy with a fancy expensive truck that liked MY old truck, how bout that?
