what are those seat covers? I’m in the market for a set. My SORs have been fine but they’re finally beginning to fall apart.
They are marathon seat covers, they have been awesome and I couldn't be happier with them. They are going on six years with lots of use and spills. They have always maintained their waterproof properties and have held a few coffee spills long enough for me to pull over and address the puddle of coffee on the seat. The fact that they offered them in kryptek camo only made them that much better.

Any advice for replacing those center vents? I just got mine in the mail and it looks like we have the same dashboard layout (1993 Cruiser).
@retrofive on my old slee rear bumper on my 100 series it had a CB antenna mount right in the middle and I liked it because it barely stuck up higher than my truck roof line. It worked well enough for wheeling. I used to have it higher, but it would get caught up on trees from time to time.
I carry my chainsaw with extra pre-mixed gas and steel-toed boots just for occasions like this. Nothing more aggravating that having to turn around and go back the way you came. On some trails turning around isn't a great option.Slushy snow with lots of pines/furs blocking the rd
Been laying low due to myself being immunocompromised, but was able to get out today with the local 80 bros to hit a little dirt and do some target shooting. Felt good to get out and kept it safe and fun.

Surgery today too! Glad it was over the one antenna bolt was cross-threaded and strip so that made it really a fun job to try to get the antenna out of the way so I could reach back and put the last two knots on the snorkel. Also finished up the winch wiring as well as a few other small projects.

You need to remove the lower panel first (the one covering the ac controls and such) before taking off the upper panel with the vents. After the 6 screws are removed from the upper panel, use a “pull down and out” motion to remove it from the two clips that are still holding it to the dash. The vents are clipped onto the back of that top panel - removal is straight forward using a flat blade screwdriver to gently pry of each clip. Highly recommend that, given you now have access to all of the switches, you replace any bulbs that are burned out.
All it takes is two 3/8-18NPT pipe plugs (I used brass so no rust) and two threaded 1/4-28 grease zerks. Drill and tap out the pipe plugs and install the zerks.
I built mine as I had the stuff on hand.

Not sure of the quality of these zerks... but they are a one piece solution.
Are those air chuck fittings used as a quick disconnect for the flap? How are they working out? Solid enough? I gotta do something similar soon

Sick idea.
I adjusted the throttle cable and the transmission kickdown cable (that's what it's called) and man....what a difference 5 minutes makes. The throttle response is like night and day.

So a couple of weekends ago I was playing in the rocks and smashed my ac dryer. Since I had to fix it anyway I went ahead and had it relocated to a safer place. Much thanks to Andy @ fj80psi for a great job! He has kits available if anyone else wants to do this before it gets bumped.
