Finally had a couple dry hours so I injected 3M urethane into the windshield gasket per a fix that’s been described here. Fingers crossed it will stop water ingress to the dashboard and passenger floor- I’ve already blown the front sunroof drains out with compressed air and run trimmer line down as well.

While I was in there, a little Silglyde on the sunroof channel run seemed to help it move.

I did notice that the weatherstrip/welt that runs around the entire hatch opening was super deformed at the top and filled with debris, so removed, cleaned, and stuck it back on with some urethane behind it. Might have to spring for a new one of those.

For the entire 80k miles I've owned the 80 washer fluid has squirted out of both ends at the same time. Finally replaced the diverter valve. Easy, quick, cheap. Why the hell did it take me so long?

Also replaced the "hose, ventilation #2" as I found a split in it on the back side where it couldn't be seen. Old one was so hard and brittle I was able to just snap it in two like a twig.

Got those part numbers available? Yes, I could look them up too, but these are the exact two parts next on my replace list. Thanks.

But of course, all in stock :D

We stock the bushings separate, the bushing/bearing combo separate or the full spindle with the pre-installed bearing/bushing. Most are available from us in OEM or aftermarket variants too :D

We stock the new variant spindles in both OEM Toyota and Joint Fuji Japanese too

As noted can actually use the long bushing in the new spindle and vice versa. There are a few out there that prefer the bushing only (Kevin RIP!!)

He rubbed off on me. I prefer the bushing to the bearing, too.

Beefy dom steering installed. It would be nice though if it had flat spots on the rods for adjustment. I don’t know who made it, customer supplied it.

Wits End ABS delete on front axle.

Nitro rear shafts, painted flanges and installed.

Cheers

Two weeks ago we had a massive pile for the chassis build. Now it is down to brakes and sway bars.

Just waiting on a few parts to show up Monday and we will finish it off and bolt on tires. ;)

Cheers

A bare frame and axles like that would be an extremely convenient time to weld the panhard mount, sleeves for the steering box bolts, front sway bar mounts, etc.

Or cut and stretch the frame five inches and build all the body mounts from scratch.

Cheers

After 2.5 years in storage I finally had time to clean and warm up the engine been wanting to do this but was always busy and was thinking if I should sell or keep herView attachment 2198267View attachment 2198268View attachment 2198269
Nice but eh, I think you should sell it. Ill give you $5k for it.

Okay, bad attempt at humor. Nice rig, It is a shame you aren't using it but, as nice as it is, it would be difficult to let her go. Can you share some more specs?
