Productive Saturday! I installed my Whiteline rear sway bar. Pretty straightforward and it has made a noticeable change in the amount of body roll I was having. Real test comes when I put the RTT back on this weekend.

Then, I simultaneously ran the wiring and installed the LCP auxillary fan and my dual battery voltage gauge. Only one blank left on my entire dash now...
Fan install was easy with the supplied brackets and the wiring was truly plug and play. No issues at all, although, it wasn't hot enough to really try out the fan, yet.

Everything went so smoothly (for once) that we had time to make it out to the beach with the kiddos and friends. (beach pics omitted for fear of bikini backlash...)

Looks great. Also, you know you can unscrew the OBDII port and flip it so you can put your fuse box door back on with the Ultragauge still plugged in. I think I was able to put one screw back in mine facing down.

nice Springbar tent! They are the best.

I did not. I'll give it a try, thanks!

I did that too, for a while. On mine, with only 1 screw in the port is a bit flexible. A word of caution if you are in an inspection area where a ham-fisted tech is going to be trying to blindly shove his connector into the OBDII port. I was afraid mine was going to get broken so I returned it the stock setup.

I have purchased (but not installed yet) a flat ribbon OBDII "extension cord" where the ribbon comes out at a sharp 90 degree angle to the port and I think this will still allow the cover to be installed with the plug in the port.

I picked my 80 up!!!!!!!!

It's a 97 LX with 190k miles and the previous owner did pretty much every PM there is (except HG). It runs like a top and doesn't appear to burn oil and doesn't leak.

Since picking her up, I bled the brakes with fresh fluid, installed the bh3d double cup holder, and did the CDL and pin 7 mod.

Creative dolly and crowbar work to do some undenting. The original dent here goes back to 2005. This was #3 and it messed up the tail light mount shape.

A cool thing about having Dynamat sound deadening back there is crowbar use doesn’t leave any punch marks at the crowbar tip.

Since I have a bit of Durabak repair to do I wasn’t overly careful with the rubber gasket stuff. I’ll scrape off the excess later and clean up those lines.

Replaced the radiator in my 94, and since all the coolant was bled out, did the PHH as well. First time I've done a PHH--what a PITA. I doff my cap to people who tackle that job without a lift in the ol' garage. Here the pit crew and I are with the LC all racked up.

Can’t wait for @jonheld to see that you did the PIN 7 MOD...

Named the PIN 7 MOD because you are modifying pin #7 not seven pins...

Wasn’t the weekend but used my 93 to pick up a 2018 Subaru Outback for Mrs. LS1. Looked at 4Runners, Highlanders, Rav4s, and thought about a used 200. Just wasn’t impressed with any of them, for the money. It was quite disappointing. Then I swung by the Subaru dealer...I know quite a few people that have them and are as crazy in love with them as many of us 80 owners. It just made sense. It’s like if Mr. T had designed a station wagon back in 1993...

I have to say, it’s a great vehicle and am contemplating picking one up for myself for a DD for work. But I probably won’t because my 80 is so fun to drive.

You may want to reconsider where you are placing your lift support pads. You have them on the pinch welds of the body. This is NOT a unibody car and that is NOT an approved lift point for this vehicle. The entire frame, transmission, and engine are hanging from 8 bolts in your body. (I don't see sliders that are attached to the frame)

You need those support pads under the FRAME. Reference the Owner's manual or the FSM for approved lifting points for a jack.

Keep your family safe!

Nope. It's good like that. Keeps the value low so the next owner can afford it.
