Thanks scumbag North Face. Love finding out from the internet that my photo was stolen, put on their shirts and monetized.

Looks like they are “Doing it LAZY” as in their product design. I wonder whos photo they stole the 60 series version of this from!?

^^^^

Wow! That is a super clean rig! Nice truck.

As far as the idle issue, it sounds like you are definitely chasing water causing an electrical short somewhere. Recheck the connectors at the top of the engine and use dialectric grease on them, and check the back three spark plug wells. You could also pull one spark plug lead at a time to try to pin the misfire to particular cylinders.

Thanks, I've been super happy with it so far. I'll put some dielectric grease on the connectors. Any connectors I'm missing you think, I checked the dizzy, TPS, IAC, and the bigger connection on the front that I assume is for the EGR crap.

Not the first time that's happened, huh?

Go get'em tiger!

lawyer up and get some of that "monetized" back from them. Maybe they'll pay for all your parts retroactively if you put a North Face decal across the side of your truck.

Link to purchase? I wish my truck was cool enough to have the picture stolen. JK man. Not cool. Hope you get some cash from them to fund your habit.

Get some your own made up and post them here and we can all buy them...:)

My mates 13 yr old son did a similar thing with my truck. Looks awesome.

While my 80 sits patiently at home waiting my return I thought about maybe plasti-dipping the front 3-4 inches of the hood to prevent rock chips in the paint. Maybe sand down the rock chips on the stock front bumper and plasti-dip that as well? Or maybe just primer and some paint? Plasti-dip's temporary - can peel it off if I change my mind. The factory roof rack and rear wind deflector are looking a little faded - maybe they need some plasti-dipping as well or... maybe powder coating?? I wonder if I could make a combined center console and shifter console out of wood, squeeze in some cup holders and varnish the hell out of it to match the wood trim on the dash/doors? Make it a few inches higher and wider for a comfortable arm rest? Would have to enclose the parking brake inside the console (with its own "compartment" of course) but I don't use it often enough that I can't be bothered to open the console to reach the handle. Is there some law that says I can't do that? Or would it affect a safety inspection?? All this while fishing for cherry salmon in the Russian Far East. The fish weren't biting.

That sucks, but can you do anything if there wasn't a "copy right" logo/warning on the picture when it was posted online ?
A copyright logo isn’t necesarry as far as i know. You get the copyright as soon as you take the photo. So as long as you have the original, you have the proof.

I hope @jcardona1 gets them, a multi-million dollar company like North Face does something that low. They could have at least tried to figure out who he is from his license plate number and ask for permission !

A simple cease & desist letter should be enough to get their attention. Would also serve as notice that you are considering going down the copyright infringement path.
