Got an Aussie in my 80 and agree the most bang for the buck
Spartan locker in mine. Works great. Drives exactly the same. Can hear the ratcheting when turning sharp at slow speeds. Definitely a great mod for price and easy to install.

Is it filled with helium? I've never weighed mine but I've seen others post their numbers and I remember them being a lot higher.

LOL nah it’s pretty much stock except for a lift, 315’s, full length ARB roof rack and a fridge. No bumpers, sliders or skids yet. That weight did include my 200 pound behind.

Took the day off so I could have an unrushed attempt at my first front Axel rebuild.

My oil seals we're still in one piece so no bird soup to deal with but nevertheless the cleaning part of the process was too much. My birfs looked in good condition but I could not find any identification marks on them so I don't know if they are OEM or aftermarket.
I also got to use my new WitsEnd oil seal tool. Worked a treat...thanks @NLXTACY

I took the opportunity to fit the new rotors and tomorrow I plan to fit new calipers and replace all the soft brake lines. Busy day ahead...

What type of rotors are you going with? I'm in definite need of a new set and still deciding

Got a call last night at midnight from a buddy, he was very stuck and 3 hrs away in the middle of nowhere. Got there at 3am and took an hour to pull him off the edge. Only thing preventing his truck from rolling down the hill were some straps tied to trees. We had to get very creative with using the winch and ended up needing traction boards on all 4 tires.

Wanted to give a huge shoutout to @cruzerDave and his Remora product --> Land Shark Outfitters
We were struggling to get traction on the tires and figured I might as well bust out mine boards out too. My buddy was hesitant thinking it would take me a while to unmount them (his are bolted on to the rack directly). Before he finished talking I had popped them out and put them under his tires.

Got him up and off the edge, and we headed back to town happy but exhausted. I love my land cruiser!!

Cannot say enough good things about the land tank modified blue hub fan clutch a la wits end. Temps have been on average 7-10 degrees cooler since I installed it a few days ago. Very encouraging heading into summer.
Absolutely necessary mod if you're in the desert.

For the last weekend and all the week itself, I did the all "Israel National Trail" 800 miles total 500 miles over-lending
Some facts on Israel the area is like the state of New Jersey its like a hot dog that so some took a bite in the middle so in the middle the most narrow place its a 10 miles between the border to the Mediterranean sea we drove from the Lebanon border in the north to the red sea in the south

I have published pictures on Facebook
