Not a successful day. I had planned to replace all my calipers and soft break lines. Calipers were easy as expected but I am 0 for 7 on the brake lines. There isn't a spec of rust under my car so this surprised me to say the least. I didn't want to force them and compromise the solid lines so I am about to throw in the towel. I hit the joints with some PB blaster and will have one more go tomorrow.
My flare nut wrench wasn’t working so I tried two box end wrenches together and had success. The fittings are long enough to get two on there. Worth a shot...
Picked up some parts yesterday. In my typical fashion I bought a parts truck that probably is too nice to part out. 91 with manual cloth seats, OME 2" heavy lift, 238K iirc (I was in a bit of a hurry and for the price I couldn't get hurt). I didn't even test drive it. I'll take it for a spin on Monday. Hopefully the front diff is ok so I can use that, also the lower tailgate is perfect so I can swap my dented one. Has the front mud flaps I was gonna cough up $80 for. If its solid enough I'll swap out the stuff I need on my truck then clean it up and sell. If not I'll just part it out.

Nice, I've got that year and interior, if you decide part it out I'd be in for some spare parts for the shelf, 3FE stuff, interior stuff. Looks decent though, might not be a parts truck.

This happened to me as well, penetrator and line wrenches and they still wouldn’t budge. Ended up having my local shop replace all the soft hoses with Slee’s kit, I believe made by Crown Performance which is a relatively well known brand. They mentioned using a torch. Best of luck.
Went out yesterday with another Cruiser and got stuck on a steep ledge with slick mud. Eventually we got ahold of a few Jeep guys to rescue us.. pic of his rig.. next investment is come up winch
