I disassembled the CV joints, no cracks, but did find some wear, both sides about the same, I am going to have a go at replacing them with the greasable ones to suit the '90 to '94, 8mm shorter but from what I can see that's only an issue if there constant 4x4, mine is part timed and the AISIN hubs seem to have full contact with the spline

This is last month, but we drove from AZ to Banff, Canada and back over a 4 day weekend. We also cut the roof of our truck off and glued on a Campteq. It was the best dumb thing we've ever done.
Since we've had it home we've been sewing in new mosquito netting, putting in new mattress pads, sewed on a rear rain flap (It leaked back there we knew from what the seller and landcruiserphil has mentioned). We sanded and stained all of the wood interior and modified it for our truck, Lizard skinned the interior, seam sealed etc. Too many things to remember. Still have a lot left to do.

I need one bad, thats looks great now that it is IN what d you think, please feel free to really explain.

Well, then thank you!! Haha! There is a bolt through the top handle of it, but I've been running a rubber strap as well just because I sometimes pretend I'm in a race while offroad.

Actually, Just to be technically correct... You are turning photons of light into cool, not heat . Solar PV (photo-voltaic), not solar thermal (like if you had a solar hot water heater).

Regardless, your PV install looks great and the panels look well protected inset into the rack. Nice job.

New (to me) Toyota wheels (with caps) 285/75 r16 BFG KO2s. All done by @duggy which I wholeheartedly recommend. Excellent communication and worked with me on timing to get it done in my very small window of opportunity. Can't say enough...

Got the single row LED installed into the new bumper last night. Because I know someone will ask, it's an amazon LED light, Arsenal brand. On the cheap end as far as lights go but I've actually been fairly impressed. The 40" one on the rack is the same brand and has done well for a few years now.

finally tackled the fuel filter,having read where it should take 30 min or so i was confident that i could have it done in 3+ hours.(LOL)
the infamous engine side mounting bolt took approx 24" of extension plus 2 swivels.
the rest i did topside with removing things in the way.
the installation went better.
the filter was full of brown crap(makes me wonder about the gas tank)the filter element itself was a nice dark mocha brown with a hint of walnut and leather.
this was not the factory filter as the inlet side banjo had 2 washers on 1 side and none on the other,surprised it didn't leak.
starting the beast up did not require spinning the starter over as much as previously,overall the test drive seemed a little stronger than before and idle jumped about 25-50- rpm and smoothed out some.
going to look at putting in another filter closer to the tank and easier to get to so filter changes can be more routine based on what i saw come out of this one.
definitely going to look at getting the tank cleaned out

I’m aware it looks slightly low on the passenger side. Pretty sure the truck has been in a minor fender bender in an earlier life. The lower valence is pushed up a bit and if you look close you can see the top of the fender isn’t lined up with the hood like the driver side.
According to my level the bumper is square and level.
