Crossed state lines to get coffee this AM

This is the Washington Crossing Bridge spanning the Delaware River between NJ and PA. It is 114 years old and the total width is 15' (7.5' for each lane). It is located at the spot where George Washington crossed the Delaware River in 1776 in the Battle of Trenton during the Revolutionary War.
Mirrors need to be folded in to make it across without hitting the bridge or oncoming traffic. I cross this 3 times daily and every morning there are new smashed mirrors on the road deck from "newbies" who haven't learned the protocol yet

. Believe it or not, this bridge handles 6,500 cars a day. In the AM it is bumper to bumper.
