Dude, I call bull**** here.
You can't stand up or walk with a dislocated hip. They are pulling your leg.

You got a dislocated coccyx. You need to have that checked immediately. Maybe even manipulated to set it back in place.
Use the call button and press it constantly till the hairy nurse shows up. This is urgent!!!

You did this SOLO?

I guess I would never do that solo, seeing some of that trail. I am not an experienced rock / trail crawler yet (old mud guy from way back), but I would not be confident enough to do that solo, even though I'd like to. I love being out in those types of places on my own.
thats how new englanders do it, hell im in MOAB solo right now. only turned back on one trail because i could see rolling it in my crystal ball.

I didn't do anything to my 80 this weekend. But I received my 4x4 labs front bumper kit and rear bumper kit with dual swing outs. So my weekends will be busy soon.
man those bumpers are great 3000 miles overland and 200plus on trails with a 37 mud grappler and not a prob. tought as nails.

Where are you? If you're in Moab you should have a blast. Drop your tire pressure to soften the ride up and give yourself some sidewall flex. There is a lot to do out there just be careful of the clay mud in a heavy rain, not even a triple locked 80 is a match for that slick crap. Lol
thats the wrong pic, thats a wake up pic after pulling onto soveign land after gemini bridges only a mile in tires are up for the 6 mile hiway 65 mph be here for a couple few more days poison spider scared me a bit today lol

Yeah it's definitely a very different kind of wheeling there. You have so much traction and stability on the slick rock but the angles will pucker you at first. If you want to check out the trails but not risk your truck during your 2000+ mile trip, check out the unimog tours. You will also get a good feel for what's possible on slick rock as they play around a bit on the steeps.

Felt super happy about adjusting the valves on the ol' 92 on Sunday. I slipped getting off the platform and landed a little wrong. Didn't think anything of it. Monday it felt a little worse. Tuesday night it sucked. Wednesday morning I was in the ER. Herniated disc and dislocated my right hip. WTF?!??

The doctor asked me if I had trip insurance after I told him I had to be good by Saturday when my daughter and I start our two week backpacking across Europe trip. I told him to FAWK OFF AND STICK A NEEDLE IN IT! :p

Fortunately, some morphine and muscle relaxers along with an amazing physical therapist that got my disc and hip manipulated back in place and I am feeling "less sh!tty". MRI tomorrow. More PT tomorrow and Friday. Then fly out Saturday with a carry on full of pills!

Will figure out if I need surgery later.

Would've been cheaper (and way less painful!) to pay someone to adjust the valves... :bang:

That’s the spirit! Rub some dirt on it and try to have a good time.

Fingers crossed.

Well, I couldn't walk. As she explained it my hip was rotated back. My right leg was 1" shorter than my left. After the manipulated it, it "popped" back in place.

Took a solo trip to check out some Grand Canyon National Park backcountry.

Do the White Rim trail you wont find better scenery and it safe to do solo. You will need 4wd and you will use low range so it not boring. It can be done in a day but its a very long day. Permits are needed if you go for a day or camp but this time of year there is a lot of open camps so getting a camping permit should not be a problem.

Where do you head from Moab?

No aspens where I was. Mount Dellenbaugh was the highest point at a little over 7,000 feet. Just pinions and ponderosa pines. Although the aspens have started changing in Ut

I just returned from Utah where I took a high altitude run from Blanding over the mountains to Beef Basin and out. The trees started but not much for the Aspen.

With winter right around the corner I needed to address the bed heating of my CampTeq. The factory cigarette lighters plugs would come loose and I would lose my heat and wake up cold.:bang: I upgraded all my power connections to SAE and Anderson power connections hopefully keeping warm all nite into the morning.

Sounds like a fun trip, I get to spend two weeks camping just west of there across the river on the Henry mountains in December for my dad's once in a lifetime buffalo hunt. I sure will be glad to have my cruiser out there in December
