Got a new piece of jewelry for the winch. Factor 55 Should be much safer than the original hook.

Your fronts are wrong too. Driver's side is just barely staying up on the step, I'm not 100% sure but the PS looks like it is about 180 out. Can't tell about your DS rear.

There is an obvious step on the lower spring pads.. the end of the coil wire should butt up against that step.

Thanks guys. Got em' spun around. I never saw that shelf when I was installing. I think I was so irritated working with the strut compressors and sweating my butt off that I didn't see that very prominent shelf on the front side. It is a PITA compressing those heavies. Thanks for your help. Sits good now.

Spring compressors are PIA and extremely dangerous. Have you tried the bottle jack spring install method? Works every time with very little effort and danger.

Did you loosen all your control arms and pan hard bar? If you do the springs have tons of room and need nothing to install them. The picture below (863J)shows how much room you have when you loosen everything. You should always when installing a new set up loosen everything and retorque after everything is installed and you are sitting at right height.

What about brake lines?

I think our low last night was in the high 80's.

Humidity is bad, but when you get over 110° it doesn't matter. We actually are more humid than normal for this time of year.

I used to say the same thing, then I started going to 29 Stumps on our yearly desert training. The East coast has humidity.... yes, but get out in that 110-115 "dry" air.... and you feel like a dry roasted peanut! I'll take my coastal 90-95 w/ 85 percent humidity any day!!

Grabbed some hay for the goats. What trash hay! Wont be going to that feed store again.

And wth is with the 4X4 Labs front receiver pointing down like this?

Yea, for the prices charged for that bumper set-up I'd be demanding that either be replaced, or they need to knock off a good chunk of change, and I'd fix it myself.

Neat! I could probably use those. My questions are:

1) On USA spec 80's, our panhard axle mount and pumpkin on the PS make it difficult to install the top full length bolt. That is why Slee's and others have to small stubby bolts. Do these caster plates provide those?
2) With extra axle rotation, is there more probability for the tie rod to contact the control arms? With my Slee plates they are about 0.25" as is.

Was sationed there and actually miss it. Lots of BLM and Joshua Tree land to explore, and once youre acclimated it can be quite fun. A steady intake of fluids makes a big difference and I still have the habit of stepping into any shade when not moving.

I finally routed the rear diff breather up and out of the way into the engine bay. I removed the flapper and added a fuel filter. This is a Hail Mary on my recent rear axle leak. I need to rebuild them, but would like to put it off till more hospitable weather.
