I ripped my rear wiper squirter thing off on my Christmas lites as I was backing out of the garage... :bang:

What is the part number & correct name for that thing?

Just a while back got the dual battery & fridge in... now feeling real cramped for cargo space in the back. I seriously need to get the tire & water outside.

We also just came back from some fun at Pismo dunes Turf N Surf. We did some bowls, whoops & even a few jumps.

It's a project that has been put on hold, temporally.

I'll keep my eyes peeled then.

Have been wanting to do something similar on the 80. One of these days I'll start in on it, firstly need to figure out how much volume I can get with a fiberglass box.

Got started on these, and only got the passenger side mocked up. Not going to be finished anytime soon, think I'm gonna remove the cat before getting the driver's side mounted and brackets built.

Also discovered a clever way to use bungee cords to keep my random junk in beverage crates while I turn them sideways so that I didn't need to find a new home for said junk.

You have a cat on your HDJ81? Must have been something they added to the 1HD-FT's, as I've never seen a 1HD-T that had factory cats. If you're doing exhaust work, 3" turbo-back run inside the frame rail leaves lots of room for slider mounting on the driver's side!

I have those same HIDs. Been really happy with them.

I've had them for about 8 months. Just haven't taken the time to get them wired up and mounted. They are crazy bright.

I just ordered some other Avec lights for my reverse/:flipoff2: lights.

At least I figure that thing right after the dump pipe is a cat, and not some sort of pre-muffler mini-muffler. Either way, it's getting removed. Could be that the HDFTs have a catalytic converter to go along with it's EGR system, because I don't think any of the HDTs had EGR either, correct?

I picked up some 3" mandrel bent stuff already to do it. The section from the turbo to cat is still original, but everything after that was replaced with 3" already over in the land of the rising sun.

Ya, that's likely what it is then. A 3" dump pipe and cat removal should wake that thing up, and drop your EGT's a bit!

I lost mine in the rollover and IIRC the only place I could find one was Cruiserparts.

1 x Rear Washer Nozzle 1991-1997 80 series (85391-60010 - U) = $20.00

Not the weekend, but over the holiday week while visiting the in-laws in Utah, I got a chance to visit the Land Cruiser Heritage Museum in SLC.

@cruiserdan was an incredibly gracious host/tour guide and really knows his stuff, obviously.

The amount of unicorn Land Cruisers here is almost overwhelming and I could have spent the entire day drooling and looking over the entire collection. The 30th anniversary 70 series cruisers were my favorite and made me extremely jealous that almost everyone in the world gets the 70's except us.

If you're ever in SLC, I cannot recommend the museum enough!

The family and I will be driving through SLC next year on our way to Redding, CA. We have set an afternoon aside to stop at the museum.

What HIDs are those?

AVEC 7" 55w HID lights. I bought them on Amazon for $20/each. Now they are $89! And there is only one available. They may be available elsewhere...
