Another beautiful beach day with the 80. Photos have been properly censored to keep the moderators happy and to not offend the members here that are bothered by what is probably the most common piece of apparel worn at any beach, lake, or pool across the country.

What better way to top off a day at the beach then with some spicey grilled shrimp!

Is that Mackey's? North Shore?

Replaced old 863 with new 863

What front springs, caster correction, shocks and other related suspension mods are you using with your 863? Hate to ask this question, but I don't see a link to your build in your sig line. Love how your 80 is built and used - more of form follow function build. Thanks.

Who is Who

About 1/2 way down on the page is about 90% of my current build. Feel free to ask if you have question.

Changed plugs, wires, cap and rotor as well as the valve cover gasket and spark plug tube gaskets. All of these parts were the original equipment from 247k miles ago... They were not doing a very good job anymore lol

Same! Only with 326k on the clock! Haha

@Gorilla Any info on these lights, now that you've had them for a while are you happy with them? Do you think one would be enough? Do you have a link for them?

That awkward moment when you drive a gas guzzling vehicle with a burned out low fuel bulb and you are out in the middle of nowhere...:bang:

Pulling the dash apart and replacing the bulb just moved up the list.

Sounds like a good reason for an aux tank.

Replace that POS door handle opener thingy ma jig!!!!

I have replace more damn toyota door handles on land cruiser's, camry's, T-100s than I have ever replaced on any other make of vehicle!!!!

Granted I have more toyotas than any other brand but those darn handles seem a little bit on the cheap side?

That's a little optimistic for my skill set. I was thinking "Sounds like a good reason to carry a couple of jerry cans on a rear swing out bumper."

I've got them as additional lighting in my bullbar, for the price you can't go wrong

Took off my new-ish 285 Duratracs and put on 315 KM2s. I'm really liking how much easier they roll over obstacles so far. The biggest downside is how the added unsprung weight makes it feel a little clunky over rough pavement. Maybe my Bilsteins aren't up to the task?

Do you have a link to them? There's SO MANY options for this style light, I don't want to pay Rigid price, but I don't want something that's going to disappoint either.

I believe this is trail-gears spacer. Havent taken the wheel off to know for sure.

Pulled my mudflaps and bumper corners off in preparation for some minor bodywork and a custom rear bumper!

Ended up doing Big Levels/Bald Mountain again...

My friends jeep got super stuck in a mud hole, so the land cruiser had to pull it out... typical;)
Also i had a bit of a scare after going through some shallow water. I stalled and didn't start up again until 3 or so hard starts. Not sure what that could mean but maybe a snorkel is a near by investment...
