White's a great color but are you even looking at this blue? I mean come on.

Those three are definitely the worst, the green is the best of the three though...it isn't THAT bad.

Black + chrome...man it doesn't get any worse :flipoff2:

That's like classifying...

Never mind, I don't need to say something vulgar and have people get upset. Green is horrible. Absolutely horrible. It is the epitome of Eddie Bauer Edition faux outdoorsy.

Last weekend my 93 was COVERED in dirt and mud. My son said "the green doesn't look THAT bad..." I washed it. Took it out on a gravel road later that day!

What was the degree of angle on that side hill?

I'm sorry, what was the impossible?

Not sure, they said it was about 2/3rds of what it would take to start a rollover. They have a few 80 series as training vehicles so I'm sure they have pretty good idea of what it would take.

Shout out to @NLXTACY and the high quality Wits' End FEM-1. My son and I got up this morning to go fishing. Fish weren't biting so we said screw it and headed to get some more fishing gear and supplies for camping tonight. On the way we saw a minivan pull out in front of whatever this car used to be. T bone collision. Pulled over (along with others) to assist. The lady was trapped in her car and barely conscious. While we were checking on her I saw smoke and grabbed my fire extinguisher. Looked underneath and it was on fire. Pried the hood open a little with the 3' prybar I have in my 80. Sprayed the fire and got it out. Fire dept showed up 7 minutes after we did. We had pried her door open so we could've yanked her out if needed but they were able to get her out more carefully than we would've.

My 2.5 lb extinguisher was enough, barely. But that was because we got there right away. Not sure it would've been enough a couple of minutes later.

Only pic I got was after the FD showed up.

Strong work there.

A word of caution about pulling someone out in a situation like that: if they have a neck injury you can make things much worse if not done properly. If the only alternative is being dead, then sure, go for it.

Everybody needs one of those antennas.
You never know when SHTF and you need something to fish with. BAM! Dual purpose.
Mine is a good place for a flag in the dunes.

Yep. That was the thought process. We got the door open and were ready to pull her out if needed but because I could get the fire out we didn't have to.

MIxing things up a bit... Going for a quick backpacking trip before the snow flies...

Having trouble getting the Morningstar RM-1 remote monitor to work, but otherwise it's charging away like it should. Looking forward to not worrying about having the fridge on all the time.

I started fabricating some sliders for myself. Got the frame mounts done then bent up some 1.75 DOM. I recently did a 1" body lift and raised my catalytic converter so the slider supports can come straight off the frame on all six mounts. I'm not sure what I want to do for the bracing inside the slider frame yet.

How did you raise the cats? Can you take some pics? Thanks

There are pictures here

They are from before the 1" body lift but you can see that I gained 3.5" of ground clearance. The exhaust is all getting replaced later but for now it will let me build sliders that don't hang low like all the ones for sale.

Noticed my wire harness was touching the pipe near the EGR modulator and found a broken clip that had been holding the harness out of the way. Used some zip ties to pull it gently out of the way. We'll see how long it holds up.

Lol sounds like you are angrier about what the green stands for than the green itself. Although I am struggling to disagree with anything you said...

Met some fellow Cruiserheads fron the Great Lakes region. Met up at Dark Horse Brewery for a send off for the fj40 cross country tour. Great times and an awesome group of people. Hopefully this gets us rolling on more events in the future!
Thanks to @olive , @ElviMcCoy , @Classic85 , @69LC , and @drock2 for being there!

I noticed mine with the same broken clip, zip tied mine as well, but had it wrapped in this fiberglass foil heat shield first.
