Thanks! Really liking the big tire +no lift combo appearance. Definitely won't be loving it on the trail though.

Obviously I'm biased but there is no better color on an 80 than nightshadow pearl blue

Took the fifteen seconds to remove the 2 10mm bolts that hold this stupid impaler in. I've been doing tons of work replacing just about every hose, gasket, and wear item under the hood and I finally got sick of it jabbing me in the chest. I should have done this a long time a go!

Should have it back on the road this weekend some time, HOPEFULLY! I want to put a few miles on it since I just rebuilt the knuckles too. If everything feels solid, I'll put the lift on next week.

Started the weekend early last night! Rolled 300k, drain and filled the rear diff. Plan on doing the front today and the TC saturday. Getting packed up for camping next weekend for the GF's birthday.

Tires came in before I've gotten around to the lift. Couldn't resist. Looks like I'll be avoiding speed bumps for the next week...

Nice! They seem like a really great middle ground. I can tell you they are quiet as balls on the freeway. It really surprised me, I can barely hear them.

Speaking of tires--flat tire due to heavy construction in my neighborhood (drywall screw). Patched at the local tire shop, we'll see how she holds.

1) Maroon
2) Dark Green (of which my 93 is)
3) Black

Ordered new plugs, wires, rotor, and cap from my local dealer yesterday afternoon. They called this morning and said they were in. I got excited that I was finally going to get around to this.

Then I forgot to pick them up before 5pm.

Guess I'll just take my son fishing this weekend and go camping.

Those three are definitely the worst, the green is the best of the three though...it isn't THAT bad.

I think you can clearly see in your pic that the black cruiser is bigger than the others and therefore causes an inferiority complex for lesser colored examples. It's a shame for sure but they can't always be so special. Still could be worse instead of a poorly colored landcruiser people could be stuck with a saggy ass yellow H2 which is clearly sad when compared to a stock height cruiser..
