Nice! Is this Jumbo? I'm planning a trip up there (just a bit south of Jumbo actually) for a week long backpacking/peak bagging trip mid September.

Yes it is! This is the jumbo area. The valley with this glacier is right next to the lake of the hanging glacier. On the east side.

finished scuffing up the body of my LC, applied 2k epoxy primer on entire body, rolled on very nice, I plan on doing monstaline in the next couple weeks, hopfully..

Finished out my switch panel tonight. Wow that was a lot of work!

Here is the final shot of the wiring

Set in the panel for the first time since it was permanently mounted and plasit-dipped. (the astute viewer will notice the dual battery meter has been mounted as well.)

So this panel is controlled by the power switch on the right side that way regardless of the position of the key in the ignition I can operate any of these devices.

Light test.

I moved the front light bar switch to the dash bezel next to the dash dimmer knob. That way its easier to reach when driving.

Overall I'm very happy with the way this turned out.

Wasn't particularly fun, but I loaded the cruiser up and headed back to school this weekend. I kept it from being a total loss by taking the Pig Trail (Hwy 23) through the Ozark National Forest. Of course, that just made me want to stay there instead of continuing on to Memphis.

The weekend prior, however, I had some fun and installing (and subsequently needing) my Smittybilt XRC9500 winch. Saved some money too by making my own winch plate. Tested it out on some trails near Devil's Den State Park.

My stock receiver hitch was rusted badly, enough that I could stick my fingers through the holes in the side plates. Threw that away, and made a little version to bolt to the pintle-hitch holes in the rear bumper. Not really planning on towing anything with it, possibly my tiny trail trailer at some point...but I wanted something there anyway. :)

I suggest leaving it off until you need it. Great thing to bust your knees on!

Finished the first major mod in prep for Prudhoe '18.

I like it! How much to make me one?! :)

My LC was looking too pretty...all washed and freshly accessorized (new prinsu rack and front grill), so needed to do some exploring. Loaded up the boards for a morning surf then got out and about to take in some Oahu scenery.

Hmm.. that's no fun

I literally won't try to add up what it cost to get my rig running again after a slow roll because I'm afraid of the number.

And this was without the impact of having a bunch of friends/family in the rig, at speed, literally flying over another vehicle coming head-on like booger's did.

Said simply.. I understand.

But I agree.. the community is worse off.

I told myself to watch out for it, but it just did sneak past me.

Yeah, hopefully the dust settles and he comes back around.

You have no idea how many almonds! I stopped and vacuumed it out in Salt Lake on my way back. Just because it felt and smelled disgusting. Purely psychological. There were hundreds of almonds. The PO gave me a story that his family owned an "almond farm" in NorCal. My 80 was their weekend driver up to NorCal from LA. Supposedly...

Then again I also found multiple pamphlets for hookers and a one hitter. The pamphlets were just laying in the back of it. The one hitter was stashed under the center console.

Come to think of it, my 80 was in @NLXTACY's possession for nearly a month. I bet him, @jtwopark and @Qball used it to go trolling...
Was he nice enough to leave the one hitter packed for you at least?
