I'm no expert, but I think that's a doe.

Good catch. I have some of the buck visiting my secret hunting spot - only accessible by my Land Cruiser, but it's at night. The doe(s) just means that the eight pointer I've seen will be back this fall. On the other hand - doe meat is tastier. Need to find a big mother.

I installed the trail gear front bumper. Hit it with some rust oleum hammered black, I'll either drop my 8274 warn on there (mods needed) or one of the other bottom mounts I decide on later. My only concern is the Ac dryer at the moment.

It ain't the weekend, yet, but everything I wanted just showed up so I can use them this weekend.
2 30" LED's, front and rear of roof rack.
And my fridge, that I've been wanting for years.

Where did you end up ordering the fridge from?

Acouple days late...But I did Rubithon on the wagon run. I already have a wish list for next year.
1. REGEAR diffs to 4.88s
2. Get the lower transfer case gears https://www.trail-gear.com/TG/Transfer_Case_Gears/p/_5055.aspx
2. Add more quarter panel protection/Hoop from rear slider to back bumper. (I make it through clean but damn was it close)
4. Bring epic flotation device for the springs.

The start.

But all the good stuff is in the middle!
Where were you able to setup camp? I would like to take my family there for the weekend. I looked it up and it says there is no camping allowed? Somewhere outside of the area maybe?
Look up some of the other ghost towns in the area. There is a pretty neat backroad you can take from Bridgeport to Bodie and I'm pretty sure you can camp out there. It's been a couple of years though...

Ran the Rubicon last week with a great group of friends. Met @beno at Buck Island Lake. Taco'd my drag link, fixed it with a hi-lift handle sleeve.:geek: Time to pony-up and buy some HD steering from @cruiseroutfit.:steer:

LOL - I see my neighbor Marc was with you ... I knew he ran the Rubicon recently with his Jeep, but I didn't know he did it with any LC's

Replaced all these plus the front and rear pinion seal, and timing check...

Just welded shut the holes from my original roof rack with TIG silicon bronze. Pretty cool welding temps, but I still had some warpage. Bondo time. I plan on doing a real paint job soon. But not on the top of my list. I covered the area with galvanized spray but I will be sanding that off to put a good acid etch primer on when I get it. Nice to have that old roof top carrier off. Yakima old school gutter clamps kick @ss

According to all the Cruiser heads that were in the area for Rubithon, I was the only sane one in the group because the other 6 rigs were Jeeps...:steer:

But, despite his vehicular disabilities, your neighbor Marc is a fantastic guy.:)
