buddy is still working on it 8 hrs later ... the angle plates in the rear with the original shocks in them were both stripped , so I had to leave and go see a client , when I got back , I pulled my 4" grinder out of my tool box with a cutoff wheel and saved him from trying to use a hack saw.... doh ... my grinder cut through the bolts like a hot knife through butter ! .... all is done , except mounting the rear shocks and putting the rear tires on ........ I'll do a after measurement and see the difference ... before this started the front sag was 19.75 from bottom of fender to the hub , 19" on the rears ... it looks like it came up 1.5 or more , but will see after ...

Last Sunday I just had to "Get out of Dodge" as some would say... I took my girls to Pismo/Oceano dunes it's a great place to go & drive on the sand.
My 9 year old shot a video for me, I just have to laugh from a father's heart... its definitely an narrative from her veiw point. At least it made me laugh. Enjoy.
Oh yeah I also got stuck... then I twisted that dial on the dash & back right out.

ok he got the shocks and springs on ... finally the measurement now is fronts are 21.75 with 20mm spacer and the rears are 21... I know they'll settle after awhile but it looks better can't wait to drive it ... only thing left is him doing the steering stabilizer ...

so quick question ... the steering stabilizer seems to be pressed on ... is there a easy way to get that off or do we just use a crow bar , etc. to get it off ???

tried a pickle fork and a 3 lb ball pien hammer ... to no avail ... so I'll take it by a mechanic and get it pressed off tomorrow ...

At least the springs and shocks are on ...

Another trick is two pickle forks, pounded in opposite each other. Worked for 40 year old FJ55 springs...

Want to confirm the fit of the pulley and determine a tolerance for the pilot and rear flange flat where the pulley seats (Part that the studs thread into). If you could get the measurement of the pilot - Should be about 1.648" and the OD of the hub is about 3.242". I am taking these numbers from the pulley so I would expect your numbers to be a little smaller.Just need to verify.

This is as good as my daughter is going to let me get tonight lol.
