now that I have the OME stock height done and will be getting the stabilizer done this afternoon ... bailing out to Tahoe with my girlfriend to enjoy ! Taking the nikon for better pics this time ! Hope all enjoy their weekend !
maybe ... I know it's snowing right now ... fyi ... nothing like an airfueled pickle fork ... it came off lickity split... and the mechanic slapped the new one on ... $65... way worth that ! It steers great now , rides stiffer ( thats what she said , lol ) and just feels 1,000 times better... loading the back up of the LX for the trip tomorrow ...
well but as long as you don't smash through rocks with bags , they last a long time ...I'd think with a family ride that they'd be fine ...My 2 cents ...
Very quick. Ordered it Tuesday. Shipped Wednesday.
Nothing significant. There is a minor scuff on the lid. Like someone set something on it and it rubbed. It would probably buff out with a little wax if I cared. It will get scuffed as soon as I put it back there and load up gear.

Changed oil. Since I don't drive it much so it has been a while since last change and the filter did not want to come off. This is how I discovered that the Toyota filter skin/shell(bigger Thailand one)is definitely thicker than Bosch or purlator filters because I had hell of time trying to crush it with channel lock for more grip. Never had that issue with after market filters.

I have to pop a screwdrive in the filter every time I change it no matter what filter I put on! Stopped that nonsense and laugh at the techs while they struggle with it at the shop now.

Discovered this technique today after swearing up and down at that damn oil filter for nearly 45min.....got underneath with a hammer and a long screwdriver
tapped the base of the filter once (lip) and I was home free... it took less than a minute.
