I'm going to order new OME coils from my 80 today. Couple of questions because I don't want to read through the million threads on springs. Which ones are "stock" height (which will probably net me 1.5" because of 23 year old springs). I don't think I want "heavies" or whatever because I don't have a ton of armor. And who should I buy them from? Kurt at Cruiser Outfitters? Slee? Thanks for doing the work for me. Back to your weekend after you have answered my questions. Thanks. :flipoff2:

Just about anyone really, whom ever you can find descent price from. Few of us use JTWOPARK because we hang out and he charges what I think is very reasonable price.

I say definitely order from Cruiser Outfitters. Here's the list of specs for all the different coils. Or the guys at the shop can definitely help you with the right ones when you call. Looks to me like you want the 861 and 862 coils.

OMG! How many times did you pull him out? When did you realize he didn't air down?

With all the stuff he bought at 4wheel parts and he didn't air down? How did the smitty built sand ladder work for him? If I was you I'd just tow him all the way out to the parking lot and call it a day.

Thanks. I was thinking the 861 and 862 coils. I'm a stock height kind of guy but figure the 861 and 862 will probably give me an 1.5"+ "lift" compared to my sagging springs. I just replaced my shocks with stock OEM Tokicos. After the springs will be the LCA bushings. I think they are bad too.

I was thinking of ordering from Kurt @ Cruiser Outifitters because I've heard good things about them and like that they support the TLCA and Mud community. I'll call them tomorrow and get them ordered...

You may resume with your weekend. :flipoff2:

A nice doe going to the processor

I replaced the broken door check on the 80 in the morning yesterday and then drove it out to do some testing with the Canguro Racing team before we leave for the Baja 1000 next week.

He's missing his rear wiper? :grinpimp:

I'll probably get flamed for correcting the grammar/spelling of the pretty girl but... :flipoff2:

And the Thule bars with unistrut are pretty solid set ups. I prefer a lot of the homemade, simple racks over the store bought ones. But when I finally have the cheddar to purchase a rack I will buy one from Trail Tailor aka @reevesci. His craftsmanship and professionalism are top notch.

I'm ready when you are.

Hopefully after the first of the year. I just a new promotion at work and I'll be making about 3X what I was making so I'll have some disposable income. Of course I already spent my first commission check on a 2001 Hundy with 49k on the clock...

We have seen enough of the flex pictures...
Now we need action...
Got Video?
Just Saying...

Here, video doesn't do justice, most everyone lifts a front tire on this, good example of my front end doing work! I'll get some videos of yesterday's rock run up tomorrow.

Pics and vids never do that area justice... I had to winch that whole hill last time we were there it was so muddy.

One of my biggest dreams since the first time I played Ivan Stewarts Super Off Road arcade game (probably 30 years ago)!!! Looks like it'd be one of the funnest things to do with your clothes on. Jealous as hell.
