Made some progress on the castor correction bushings. Drilled, saw'd, out!
Took the them over to the 4x4 specialty shop to get them pressed in.....and was told they could do it for $200 to press the four bushings in and could squeeze me in next week. I left promptly....feeling somewhat defeated. Told my husband about it, and he took them around the corner to the Goodyear shop, 5 mins later he comes back with them pressed in! He said it took 10 seconds, and the mechanic said "no charge bro"! Geez, sometimes you 'guys' have it so easy!!

That 4x4 shop, what a bunch of DBAGS! I'm sure you've already decided to boycott them for the rest of your life after that crap.
How flipping long did it take you to gnaw those bushings out anyhow, good lord woman you certainly showed them whos boss!

isn't that a little too harsh? I would disown a kid if they ever wrecked any one of my 80s but not just because they wanted an FJ!

Well the good news, John, is you will be finding out soon enough since you found out your fiancé is pregnant! Congrats BTW!!!!

Turf n Surf still here having fun meeting you mudders. Meeting @NLXTACY with no shirt on... & @ToyotaDon well, Don had his shirt on.

I removed the rear sombrero and the landcruiser plate emblem that was separating from the adhesive tape. It got too dark before I was able to take a picture of the Plate on rear hatch. My plate snapped so now I am going to have to figure out something to put in its place... Or just leave it off.

Hmm, not sure what else could be distracting about the shot? The italia Jacket?
you know, I didn't even notice that. lol

props to the photographer for really capturing the moment. :moon::clap:

fjc has all the go fast fruit but the nut behind the wheel has no clue about sand driving. Has lots of antennas on there too - I guess to contact the mother ship.... Are the two on the front like on big rigs so the nut can tell where the front corners of his rig are?

AIR DOWN! I wouldn't have towed him out until he aired down to 15psi or lower - only way to learn...

cheers,
george.

First thing I did. I was just shaking my head.

Welp today finished up a knuckle rebuild, new front brakes, and drivers side caliper, brake system flush. Tomarrow, work on cleaning up some wiring mess, and maybe start on every bushing in the thing.
