I've always wanted to try this in my other car... Tried it here on my 80. Didn't look too bad... I'll continue working on the other panels...

It'll be cleaner next time. These vinyl sticks great!

Ok, I decided to tackle the wiring harness for the PIAA lights this afternoon. While working on it, my parents dropped by, and my dad offered to help me. We were working around the battery and my dad says "you've got a loose wire." I found out WAY after the fact that it was the AM2 fusible link wire. Neither one of us had ever seen anything like that before on a battery lead. I assumed that it was part of the old after-market cellphone set up, and simply cut it. Imagine my surprise when we connected everything and I turned the key! Anyway, after about 30-45 minutes on here and I found out that I need OEM # 90982-08264. Live and learn.

Got the part and installed it this evening. The Cruiser cranked  and the lights worked :clap: If you can't tell, I'm not comfortable doing electrical stuff. Oh, and I love the PIAA 520 yellow ion driving lights! Cool yellow hue, and nice distance and shoulder coverage.

I've set up 4 or 5 nitro gear sets and never had a problem with Any of them. Maybe you got a lemon

I got some 4.88s during the group buy also... I have had no problems with them and setup went smooth...

Installed my $75 snorkel, fooled around looking for hardware but got it at mcmaster Carr online very fast shipping.

you need an updated and relocated Southeast Overland sticker

Where did you get a $75.00 snorkel?!

At first I thought ebay, but its stamped safari, it must be second hand...

I would be all over a snorkel for less than a hundred bucks. but like a front bumper used ones are few and far between and dont depreciate very much.

Discovered during a torrential rainstorm that I had a nice leak somewhere around the sunroof. Found the damn leak and fixed it. Now to dry out the carpet :(.

Been there done that, no fun....

i put it to use. hauled my trailer loaded with a 275 gallon water tote (empty). so this counts as "light utility wheeling" as the trail gets rather rough.

but the view was worth it!
