Without adding a diesel... HEE HEE!

it's only a matter of time. You'll see he'll come over to the dark side eventually.

Got my project bumper back on Goss and will continue on with the triple swing-out build.

Id be so freaking happy to have a little 3b turbo in Woody... Tractor powa to the max!

Sounds so good.

But engine swaps look difficult... and Id have to join yalls conversations about EGTs lol

I think the EGT conversation had been beaten to death. If you're gonna swap, get a 12HT, or a 1HD-T or 4bt. They all sound just as good, but perform better.

Swapped control arm bushings all around.... that little annoying clunk on acceleration is history...
It rides a lot tighter....

So I've been reading through this thread over in the 80 section and it's nice to see all the cool things that people have done to, and with their 80's. I did a search, but didn't find one in the 60 section, so I thought I would start one. If one already exists, I appologize!

So, what did you do with your 60 this weekend?

Me?

-Fixed the Tail light and fuel gauge wiring issues.
-greased the front driveshaft
-topped up the PS, coolant, brake and clutch reservoirs
-found the coolant leak, replaced a bad hose clamp.
-filled my veggie tank so I'm ready for the week!

Most pictures of this would be pretty boring, so instead I'll include one from a few weekends ago, when I spent about an hour and a half chipping 1/2" of ice off my truck. (We had pretty bad freezing rain)! Yes, that's a rock chipping hammer...
I sourced a hard to find alternator for my 61 an im getting the one i got rebuilt so I dont have to go thru this again for a while!!!!!

Spent a few hours working on the front brakes / knuckles. Took ages to get the rings that hold the rubber piston dust caps on the calipers to stay on - gave up last night and sorted it this morning. I then tried my Delta 15x8 alloy mags on, but the wheel studs appear too short??... Or it needs nuts that go in the gap between the stud and the wheel??? Will try to attach photo, but it wasn't working for me earlier... Any ideas would be appreciated on the nuts!

Yes. Taper your nuts.

Cut the fenders to stop the 35" Swampers from hitting the rear edge of the wheel well under full compression (Note: I have a shackle reversal)... now I need to weld in caps to cover the open fender...
