Hey, what did you use to get all the old jute off?Second skin damplifier pro -> second skin luxury liner pro -> @dnp carpet kit. Some remove the jute from the carpet before install. I kept mine. And I left my factory sound deadening in there. Just pulled out the old carpet and cleaned out all of the old stuck on jute and went to town
WD-40 works very well. It breaks down the glue and then you can basically just wipe that old stuff right off.Hey, what did you use to get all the old jute off?
The hard stuff, dry ice is the best wayHey, what did you use to get all the old jute off?
I'm just gonna leave my factory sound deadening in there. The new stuff sticks to it just fine and its in good shape but the jute from the carpet padding stuck allllllllllll over it.The hard stuff, dry ice is the best way
WD-40 takes it right off. Picked that advice up somewhere in the 60 Series forum and can confirm it works. Yes, it leaves the smell behind, but a little soap and water sorts that right out.I'm just gonna leave my factory sound deadening in there. If you can't fix it with WD40 or duct tape...WD-40 takes it right off. Picked that advice up somewhere in the 60 Series forum and can confirm it works. Yes, it leaves the smell behind, but a little soap and water sorts that right out.
oem skidplate ftw ! I found one recently also.1. added a 62 grab bar. (acquired from classified on MUD and painted with SEM)
2. added (missing) front skid pate / radiator protector plate. acquired from ebay, sanded and painted (Duplicolor undercoating)

I used a steel welding coarse bristle brush from Harbor freight. It’s the wooden handle one with the steel bristles that costs like $4. Pulls it all right off. You have to unclog the brush quite a bit though but it worksHey, what did you use to get all the old jute off?
