Went to Relic Run in Uhwarri National Forrest hosted by the great people of Olde North State Cruisers. Had a great time will absolutely have to go back again.
Changed the oil greased some bushings and topped off fluids. Then took the dogos out for a run in the woods to look for antler sheds. Found one that would have been a pretty decent size if the squirrels hadn’t already chewed most of the ends off.

Lapped some valves to install into a new NOS 2H head. This is a beautiful hunk of Aichi Steel.

Replaced the vacuum lines and hose clamps. All from Cityracer. Good stuff

Took Paul on a 600 mile work trip. Last two work trips I took her on resulted in new transmissions so I was a wee scurred but she did great. Averaged 14 mpg hauling along at 70-75mph.
Gave her a good spray down when I got back and going to puke a couple can of fluid film in all her crannies.

What lift are you running? What size tires?

Lift is probably 2.5” via Dobinsons medium springs and their yellow shocks. I don’t recommend Dobinsons.
Tires are BFG KO2 33x10.5 on 15” emkai wheels that are probably 10” wide. A narrower wheel would skinny up the tire but I was trying an experiment and liked the look of the wheels. The tires are perfect for a 3FE/H55 combo.

Wonder about the range with the small trailer.
As EV’s go, the Rivian looks to be pretty good, plus it incorporates my first name so it must be even better.
