First one i got seemed a cheap knockoff (got it from Germany) second one i got from china much better qaulity and properly sealed (Says made in Taiwan)

Just need to find a good spot for the guage im the dashboard and start figuring out temp ranges.

For anybody who needs to know l, that upper radiator hose adapter is 38mm. Glowshift sells one too.

@Vulkyn I feel like I’ve asked about your carpet before haven’t I? It’s amazing.

Well probably not my rig, previous owner swapped the carpet for leather.

I still dig it. Nobody else has that!

Took 'er on first drive of 2024. Up to small Quebec town where the bakeries and pizza shops were open. After rebuilding the entire rear axle and replacing brake booster and master this winter, was keen to test out. Drove sooo good. New booster is a huge difference. Old one required a fair bit of pedal pressure when stopping, new one requires just a gentle touch.

Gorgeous truck. Can you share your suspension and tire setup?

Finished body work on the 6x6 cab and got it in paint.

That gauge has served me well.

Drove this yesterday. HJ61 with 12HT, slush box, FF rear, etc. etc. Short drive, actually nothing more than launching and pulling out a boat  , but enough to have me thinking about a 12HT swap for the 2F. I've ridden in it and even with the slush box runs great even while pulling a 16' boat.

You'll need the 2F 4500 rpm limiter.

This post could also be in the "Best Mod Under $50" section.
I installed this to have a larger screen for Gaia and other navigational tools. I saw it on TicTok for about $65. But, wait, there's more, since I was a "first time" TicTok purchaser I got it for 50% off. One of the perks was it has a backup camera. I already installed a backup camera so I now have a front view camera. It connects via blue tooth connection. There are 2 cables. It is powered by a cig lighter plug and the camera has a cable, I'm not a big fan of the cig lighter cable. I may replace that with a different power cable.

I've actually been looking for something similar where I could use Android Auto to control OnX, Garmin Power Switch, and add a backup camera. My stereo seems to be too outdated.

Some DIY hot tank shenanigans in the back yard this weekend.

NOTE: There's no way on God's green earth that I would do this type of hackneyed setup if I were using caustic and/or flammable chemicals, or even filling the drum full. As it is I used 15 gallons of water plus the full gallon of Formula 88, which is aluminum friendly but as a result takes some more time boiling in the barrel to get it good and clean. But at least now I can let this manifold ("surge tank") go for hours and not worry about the aluminum being corroded or even etched by the cleaner.

I have no idea why my neighbors now refer to me as Walter White
:hmm:

I'm going with Walter Sobchak.
Over the line!
