Clicked over 600000kms (hj61 / 12ht) a couple of weeks ago, so decided to give it a bit of a birthday and get new injectors installed.
Dropped it off this arvo and will pick it up tomorrow...
I know they haven’t been touched for at least 300000kms, so it will be interesting to see if there is any difference!

Took the 60 for its first diesel fill up and be able to fit the diesel nozzle into the fuel neck without a funnel. If you do a diesel swap remember to remove the diesel rejection flapper.

Drove home and just love the 4BT and 5 speed NV4500. 5th gear just cruises. The Speedhut Gauges are awesome. Here is 4th gear at 55mph... one more gear to go!

Project Snowball❄ has been a long road. Been a lot of blood, sweat and burns but this setup is so fun. Just a bit more on the suspension and it’ll be time for wheeling.

Headed east of Crater Lake, Oregon tomorrow to look for some mountain property to play with Snowball❄.

Did Imogene pass today at 13,114 ft with the 315,000 mile 2F. Good times.

New MC - brakes aren’t locking up after 10-15 min of use now.

Success!

Hojack, can you post pics of your rear bumper quarter protection? Especially from underneath. I'm looking for ideas on how to do that on my rear bumper build.

Even tho it’s pretty much down for the count needing a clutch and radiator, I decided to replace the fuel cut off solenoid o-ring. It’s been dieseling ever since I’ve owned it, and everything I’ve done up to this point hasn’t fixed it. Pulled it out and the o-ring basically crumbled apart. I took it to Napa, they had nothing. Went to a small engine repair shop that was supposed to be open, they were closed. Finally went to ACE and they had a bunch. Ended up with several Viton seals, they’re all pretty much too fat, but I got one to work. Let the truck get warm, limped it around the block several times, and it seems to have fixed it. Who knows though, can’t really get a ton of seat time because of the clutch. I’m optimistic tho.

Looks GREAT!!! I’d like to do the very same thing for mine...Did you re-upholster the pad? Please PM me and let me know what you did?? Thanks

I just painted right on the vinyl. No re-upholstering.

Step 1. Remove armrest pad, locking mechanism, cup holder (and remove rubber fingers from cup holder)

Step 2. Sand all metal. I used 120, 220, and 320 grit. Wipe surface clean before next step.

Step 3. Spray all metal and arm rest pad with 2-3 coats of SEM Cordovan Brown. I used 2 used two full cans. Could’ve used a third. Let paint cure for 24 hours.

Step 4. Reassemble and install.

Took her apart, didn't quite get her back together again.
