Adjusted the valves, cleaned/gapped spark plugs, changed oil and installed a new Man-A-Fre exhaust system. The exhaust is really well made, bolts right in and sounds great. I highly recommend it. It uses the factory mounts and even comes with new rubber insulators.

First a little work... new sliders, finished my winch install, and then added some rear rocker protection to my Trail Tailor bumper. Then some snow wheelin'...

Stole it from another rig here on ‘mud. Sent the pic of that rig to a guy that prints decals for all kinds of vehicles. The original decal was white. He photoshopped it onto my rig and I chose black.

So... I was the only truck. BUT, I went up against a very cool Fox body mustang and a 1980 Z28 in the 8o's category. It was threatening to rain so turn out helped me out a bit!

Found out why my idle was high on the 12HT. The two throttle return springs were toast. The one broke completely and the second was badly rusted and stretched. I went to local shops all over town and only found one set of replacement springs. These are not progressive extension springs so the throttle is pretty jerky but it runs and idles okay.
If anyone can give me a source for replacement extension springs that are progressive please let me know.
