That's a gift I give for good, repeat clients. ;) Bumper looks great Dixon.

Not quite as good as a gift from Onur, and I didn’t know it was available from Toyota. Here’s my poor man’s substitute - and comes with packaging from Japan.

Wow, that should have glitter and bows on it!

Continued to finish the little stuff to wrap up my 2-1/2 year '86 FJ60 project, including under the hood. I fabricated this small bracket to mount the fuse holder for the Pioneer amp (amp is being mounted under the front passenger seat - space is now available since I used the under-the-console rear heater from the '89 FJ62 donor vehicle). Mounted it to the inner fender using an existing threaded hole.

Yeah I just want to run the correct filter, not the small one. I'll be the first to say I ran a wix 51515 filter, but then I found a thread on the 80 series section linking an engine failure to the wix filter. That wix filter was removed shortly after.

I had a WIX 51348 and pulled it because it oil-starved my engine.

Will never use another WIX product.

Amazon. A pair came from Japan so they took a little longer than 2 days. The silver one doubles as an impact but I haven’t had the opportunity to see how well it works

Well, four days lying on my back and rolling around in metal shavings. New used LR fuel tank from wrecking yard. Turns out to
be a Man-a-Fre tank which I picked up for $300 :), I removed it myself. It was mint. Until the idiot f'n troglodyte that works at the
wrecking yard decided to use a fork lift fork to lift the tank. So it now has a dent and will piss me off forever!

While installing the tank, the exhaust had to be removed. It was rusty and holed anyhow. So I got to build my first 3" exhaust.

Went to Home Depot and grabbed the little aluminum spacer and pressed it in place in the dizzy. The old nylon one was gone.

Also decided to check/adjust the valves since I had not done this since getting the 60 almost a year ago. I found all valves were over tightened. No wonder my engine vacuum was sitting at 15. Got it all adjusted to spec and vacuum jumped to 21 and the needle is perfectly still.

While I had the valve cover off I gave it a quick scrub with simple green and a scotch brite pad.
