Drove to Arizona, stopped in at 4 Plus world headquarters, got to visit Zuk in Chandler, then even had to use 4WD to get home!

Drove close to 2000 miles in 3 days. 62 ran like a champ. Very impressive actually. But if your goal is to burn as much gas as possible, I can highly recommend a 62 with a roof rack at 75mph!

Part # on the reverse lights?
The company is PFAN...they are under vendors.

PFran LEDs - Complete interior LED conversions

You can buy a kit that includes the inside dome lights and the BU lights or just buy the BU lights. I highly recommend the BU bulbs...the pic does not do them justice. The inside are cool if you want to brighten up the inside, which I did. I dont have mine come on automatically so when I want to use them I really want light. I could see how someone might want something a little softer though. 30 minute upgrade.

A total bonus if you have tinted windows I may add!

Met up w/ a bunch of friends for dinner just over the CT/NY line. I was in the minority as was my friend in his 98 4Runner. Food was impressive. 14 different types of meat. Pretty wild. A extravagant treat for me for sure. Was almost a 2 hour drive tho I wasn’t the furthest, another woman came from RI.
Truck did well... wipers have an audible click on off, I am unsure if they should? And I seriously need to downsize my 35x12.5 tires to the 31’s. They walk all over the weather beaten wet pavement. And I need to polish my windshield and get a better set of wipers. Visibility stinks in the rain.

Installed a Powertrax locker in the rear of my 60 yesterday. Hopefully will get a chance to try it out tomorrow.

I have the same locker sitting on my bench for the last year. I am torn on whether I should put it in because of the change in driving characteristics. Please let me know your thoughts after driving it a while. Thanks. Jerry

Drove to above mentioned meeting....but couldn't stay too long....and in fact had to leave before the meat action took place

ah well

Needs more Filet mignon

Spent Saturday and most of today troubleshooting an intermittent ignition problem. Truck just dies on me....no spark....until it magically works again, then runs like a champ. R/R coil, no difference (turns out the original coil tested good after all so now I have a spare)...new cap/rotor (old ones were probably OK but again now have a spare). Took the dizzy off since it looked like this. I'm hoping it's the signal generator and I can find another one. Am I smoking crack?

Why is there so much moisture in there????
o.o

it should be dry.....
I just rebuilt one and it was nice and dry, all working well..
no white stuff on the plastic either

I’ve been wondering if that’s what the oxidation would look like from a non-working distributor vent vcv. Vapors could get in there and ignite causing oxidation? Or is the cap just cracked or otherwise leaking and letting moisture in?

Anyway looks like that is def your problem, to state the obvious

Looks like the distributor cap was not vented properly. You must have a good flow of fresh air pulled through the cap or this can occur.

I recently replaced the VCV for the dizzy system - but god only knows how long it was bad...so it has spent a long time with an inop VCV...the moisture in the photo is mostly PB blaster I used to help loosen the small bolts to remove the internal parts. I plan to clean what I can although I don't think I can clean the SG without cutting the wires off and pulling completely off to clean and hopefully re-use. Everything else is soaking in vinegar at the moment.
