. Please post up pics when you do this, I put a tow hook off a 40 on the drivers side upright beside the 8274 probably not ideal but seems to work. I’m sure there are better options

I did the same ^ though I’ve never had to use it 
Finally got it out of the city. Never realized how much it looks like a pile of dead leaves - you can barely make it out here..

Continued getting parts ready to complete the systems under the hood of my '86 FJ60 project vehicle. Current focus, now that I've got the cooling system done, is the A/C system. Worked on cleaning the condenser and repainted the attached small-diameter tube. The rubber sheath that covers the hose from the compressor to the condenser had large tears, but it was all there. Another quick trip to the hardware store netted a bottle of Pliobond, which remains flexible when cured. I already had an aerosol can of Rustoleum LeakSeal flexible rubber coating from when I touched up the outer coating on the FJ62 fuel tank. I think the repairs turned out OK.
This hose and the short hose from the condenser to the receiver/dryer will hopefully be installed later today, once the condenser paint touch-up is done and the condenser is installed. When that's done I can install the vertical brace, hood latch mechanism, grille, headlight trim, and turn signal assemblies

Good weekend cleaned out some things I forgot about since I went camping and took my son fishing ...cream cheese in the cooler.... worms in the back... and to top it off left over fish from dinner the other night that fell on the other side of the passenger seat I missed.

@ander42b Sorry for the delayed response. I tried tracing the water inside the cab to the general point of origin. For me, somewhere along the corner of the firewall; possibly the windshield, wiring grommet, gutter, spot light, firewall ledge or behind the fender. Took different colors of food coloring and dropped it in each of the possible areas. After 30 min of light rain, the color of the water leaking into my cab was Blue. Which I had put on the Firewall ledge by the hood hinge. From there I washed it away and used 2 different colors on either side of the stock seam sealer on the ledge to narrow it down even more.

i drove with my family to calgary where we flew to mexico for the week. i climbed mt orizaba with a friend. that altitude kicked my butt but it was a great adventure. i wish i had the cruiser to drive up to the base camp. roads were rough and awesome! when we flew back saturday we kept moving west to the rockies for some skiing. snow is great!
