What did you do to your pig today? (1 Viewer)

Started loading bkue pig for.the rising sun rally next.week, while pighead put a dented side cover and 60 dizzy in and swapped his front body mounts with new ones.

We believe that the copper line inside had somehow worked it's way out of the bulk head fitting. So whenever I turned on the compressor it would not lock up and just kept running. Seems to work fine now.

Hopefully this week I will get the t/c back in and it will be rolling again.

Wood roof racks installed; gutter mounts are made by quick-n-easy (very affordable and like the vintage look) and load bars are mahogany: have 3 bars but will really only need 2 for surf/paddle boards:

Nice Pig, is it grren or grey?

I picked up an old school con fer roof rack for the pig yesterday. Need to put the rack on and clean a few things up before I bring the pig down to the Rising sun rally.

You can park next to pighead and me....we're getting the blue pig loaded up and the eezi up went in twrecks today

I put another coat of white paint on the roof, with a roller...

...But today we went 'wheeling. Ige & I in TWRECKS finally conquered the Spring Creek trail. Ige had been denied once before with a bad fuel pump in her 60, we had both been denied a month ago when a dead jeep had to be towed back to camp...uphill, in the rain, on a slippery slope with a 1000 foot dropoff just a foot to passenger.
Today, in the bright sunshine, we spanked that trail. We were the only carburated rig on the trail, we had to represent. Like my new paint scheme? Spot the SNT flag.

Actually, some of the trail was hard. This is obstacle #3...unlocked early 80s and jeeps can make it, but not those FJCs...

The Pig looks great. So, the two rocks in front of the FJC must be climbed, or just the first one?
Looks tough, for sure. What's the limited factor for the FJC-IFS? Edit: That last photo clarifies my first question a bit. That's gnarly.

In that particular spot, I just figured out the driver side line, let the passenger side take care of itself. Just rode the ridge on my left all the way up.

you don't have to climb them, but you'll clearance your doors if you don't:D
