Lambcrusher,

Why didn't you like the 4runner, master cylinder? Was it a used one or new. I just bought 4runner calipers with a T100 master and 98 tacoma booster, hope it all works together :)

4runner master was used-questionable. I kept the 4 runners booster, slapped the resiviors from the ol 55 master onto the new 60 series master(60s res interferred with the booster) The biggest drag was getting all the air out of the rear circuit. I had to tipp the top wheel cylinder cups, where I found about 2 cubic inches of trapped air:bang: FWIU the t100 master and runner calipers are the ticket.

What year T100 and 4Runner?
95 4runner calipers and 95 T100 Master Cylinder with a 98 Tacoma Brake Booster, this should all work together. Just got the booster from RockAuto and have to send it back, it has a torn rubber boot, on it. These are all going on my 71 FJ55

Had my kiddo help me replace the slave on my clutch (I took the day off work), and he also helped remove the rest of the coolant and heater hoses. He did manage to find the clutch and emptied what we left in the master cylinder into my mouth while I removed the old slave, so at least I know I have clean fluid in there!

Not good, also made my lips numb. Yuck!

Got floor back in and buttoned up after the H55 install. - drove it on the freeway - sweeeet! Need to add a little more Dyno Mat. But she's tight and quiet!

So, how is the shifting? smooth, tight, long throws, between gears? I look forward, to getting mine up and running.

Shifting is great. You do need to reposition the shifter to move it away from your leg some. The shifter(s) are about 4" back so you need to cut floor and patch old locations. Because I was waiting for a couple shifter pieces my floor was partly open for a week. HOT and noisy so now that I covered it with new patch metal it's really good. I took pictures of the floor open so you could see relocation. I'll try and get some pictures from the bottom up in the next few days. I love it! Staying with traffic here in La La land is a safety issue. Best upgrade so far.

BeachBob, You have the toyota motor, right or no? I'm putting in a chevy 5.3. So I beleive, I'll be able to move the motor, forward some, if I need to. My tunnel cover, is from a three on the tree cruiser, anyway, so I can put the hole anywhere.

Thanks for letting us know, how it went. I look forward to hooking mine up.

Woke up to find that someone had painted a white stripe almost all the way around my Pig...So I painted the roof with what was left in the can. Trying to make it look more like an FJ Cruiser....

Started pulling down my disk brake donor axle... Fought me way more than it should have, probably because I did something wrong! *shrug*

Le Phew...

I've been mulling over the SAME color coding for my pick up. The white roof just seems like a no brainer and I always wondered why yota made the roofs dark and the hoods bright. I like it. It looks nothing like an FJ cruiser.....
