I am hoping you do a write-up?
It would be great to see how the longer box and split case fit the floor pan, linkages, driveshafts, etc.
I'm hoping too! I'm doing the same thing, just slower. Could use all help, I can get.

My 55 with Nv4500 + 4.88 gears + 35s +2500 rpm = 70 MPH (GPS also)
If yours is correct, I may have been hosed on my axle gears
*edit* or is the H55 OD not a huge jump? *confused*
Today I was faced with a tough choice... Pay a couple hundred for a complete rear seat and a complete functioning tailgate and window, all of which my non-rusty but dented pig needs... OR pay a few hundred more and just take the complete (and rusty) pig home as a parts car. Looks like I have 2 pigs now...
The new plan, rather than get the main one running and drivable asap, drive ol' rusty donor while I strip down the other and really take my time to build it up right. I like this new plan... I mean, I'm doing an engine swap anyway... Might as well tear it all apart anyway![]()
ditched the runner master cylinder, installed a rebuilt 60 series master and then bled bled bled.....new wheel cylinder surfaced drums tipped cups and adjusted to drag. Now I have a pedal again!
