HTown,

Looks awesome! I am surprised that you put the cargo window in before the headliner since it tucks under the window w/s? Or do you have something else planned?

Ryan

Fit and finish is a _ _ _ _ _ I know why people hire people pay to get there Glass put in. Its only one way to get every thing in right.

Ya I am going to cut the top off a parts pig and do a fiber glass one peace headliner with a drop down dvd player out of a older tundra.

blue pig hasn't been driven in a while, so i got the cobwebs out. probably logged about 70 miles today.

installed the metro shelving roof rack i made.............not uncomfortable.;). still gotta source a couple more shelve to finish off the front basket.....those shelves are rated at 600 pounds:eek:

finally pulled the engine in the green pig so i could fill and drill the broken bellhousing bolt. would've left it, but the it's where the "L" bracket for the slave bolts up. start working on it and stop to clean up the new bellhousing and tada....i just wasted my time...the new bellhousing has mounts for the slave built in:rolleyes:

so i stopped, threw a wire brush and cleaned and painted the air intake for the 45

Began making plans to put in new cargo rubber (after reading Carm's great thread) and install headliner---will check HD to see if they have anything similar to the clips used. Dreading the windshield since it has frosting around the edges:frown:

Finally got my hard brakelines bent, flared & bolted in...

Installed a new exhaust donut, the hot air intake pipe, and the intake tube, and set the timing. Paid registration and made an appointment for smog. And......brought her home a much younger sister...a 23 year young(312047miles)1988 FJ62. It was really cool to drive another cruiser(first time cheating), and the missus is stoked on the interior-AND a/c-but I will always know the pig is waaaaaay cooler!oinkoink go pigs :pig:

What's the story on that one? You ask the old lady settin on the porch drinkin whiskey if it were fer sale?

that is a really bad but good color.

has anyone ever considered a low rider or jumpin 55?

Started on the removal of the cargo glass and headliner---loads of fun and easy to remove (<-heavy sarcasim here)but I know it will be a chore when install time comes. Am trying to beat the rain coming this weekend.

Amazing (and depressing) what you run into when you start pulling stock material away.....but then 1969 was a while back:p
Am hoping the cargo glass install goes well to get my confidence up to take the windshield out (so cloudy on its edges-bad pic--very sunny here)

Got smogged and stickered! Woo Hoo!!! Ran 25 out of 250 ppms at lo speed and 33 out of 200 on the high speed HC test. Got .05 out of 2.5% lo and .27 out of 3% at high spped on the CO test. No "special" adjustments made to the ALL STOCK (except for cat temp sensor) 86 FJ60 motor (including the computer and cat converter). It was idling at 540 rpm at the test station and is pulling between 16 and 18 inches of vacuum (I think the valves or guides are going).:bounce:

Dug it out. There is a snorkel in there somewhere. Running out of places to put snow.
